The worst update
When you update any app I know there will be bugs, but this whole app has went backwards. The old app was easier to buy tickets, reset quick pick numbers, and navigating. You have to take five steps just to get somewhere that should be one step.
Don’t even get me started about 5.00 min. I don’t see myself using the app until all the issues are fixed and I think it was launched way to soon or something. I’m all the app is unusable and a complete waste of time as it is now.Show lessbonecrusher.89
Questioning the number of games???
With each update the NClottery application got a little more confusing. With the latest update the app is absolutely too confusing to even want to enter any of the lottery chances. I’ve talked to several others who have also deleted their accounts because of the latest changes and having to jump thru hoops just to enter. Someone needs to go back and adjust the application so that simple minded people could still scan their tickets and enter the games. I’ve scanned my scratch tickets and entered games for almost 4 years but this absolutely ridiculous and the lottery will never answer any question you may have. Horrible scanning function
The scan function is worse than the previous version and the previous version was ok at best. This scan worked maybe 20% of the time. Who has time to rescan the same tickets 50 times until it’s finally accepted. I wish there was another app to use but this one is NC official app. Please scrap this version and send an update ASAP to improve the scan function and ensure it goes through proper UX for testing before it’s released.Show lessMizLL
Not functional
Ever since the new version of the app launched, I’ve been unable to deposit funds or purchase tickets successfully. It seems a buggy catastrophe when it comes to transactions. The previous application was sufficient, and I didn’t have any trouble buying tickets for almost two years until they decided to launch a different platform. Terrible changes
Minimum deposit of $10.
Minimum purchase of $5 despite the two large jackpot games only costing $2 per play.
If you’re the type of person who just wants to throw a couple bucks at the huge jackpots every now and then, you’ll have to drive to a retailer and buy a paper ticket. This app no longer caters to someone who wants to infrequently make $2-4 purchases or deposit very small amounts.
The design of the app isn’t even a great improvement if you’d even call it one at all. I liked the design of the previous version.
The new app will sign you out all the time, I swear my mobile banking apps will stay signed in longer.

New app
The new app offers more content and I am hopeful that ticket scanning/checking is faster and more intuitive now. Logging in and selecting Account is slow. Also, please allow login info to be saved for future logins or allow iCloud to save login info. Will update with more info soon as I use more features.
