  • Needs improvement

It’s ok. Has some quirks. I accidentally touched the bottom of the screen when repositioning and it took me out of the class. I could not restart it from where I was.

Does not go into full screen. When I hit the button that appears to be full screen it stops play and turns part of the screen white.

The music in the classes is all old. Have yet to find any current music. Must be a licensing issue.

  • Only loads occasionally

I bought the bike at Costco several weeks ago and was looking forward to using the app for classes. The frustration with the app closing in the middle of class, not connecting to my bike and not loading certain classes makes me rethink this purchase. When the classes do work, it’s great but I’m not sure the frustration the rest of the time is worth it. It’s hard enough to work out!

  • Needs landscape mode

Agree with the previous reviewer. Use is limited to vertically oriented iPhone app making it near impossible to see the screen well while on bike. Please try and fix this in the next update. If possible an Apple Watch app to be able to monitor resistance and speed directly without using phone or iPad would be great.

Bike is great. Fraction of cost of Peloton and the pedaling is the same. Would rather just monitor the speed and resistance on my own and watch my big TV rather than a spin class.

  • Disappointing

Just bought the 1.5. Wanted a beginner cycle class but couldn’t find one. Cannot filter classes. Do not want to have to scroll through classes and choose it to see what it is rated. Took quite a while for Bluetooth to connect. Had to remove bike battery and replace in order to connect. Absolutely cannot see stats unless in a class on the app. Will probably return.

  • Could be great.

The app looks nice, but that’s about where it ends. Functionality is non-existent to awful. Constantly crashes. No way to set up profiles for household members. Doesn’t save stats from previous rides so you can track progress. Doesn’t always connect with bike. My favorite was today when I tried to do an on demand spin class. I selected a class and the app immediately crashed. When I went back in, all on demand spin classes disappeared. When I killed the app and restarted, all classes for all equipment completely disappeared!! The app is just plain terrible, and if the developers think I’m going to pay for a subscription to a barely functional app when my trial is up, they’re deluding themselves.

    Developer Response

Hi, We apologize for the inconvenience, over the weekend we discovered bugs that impacted the customer experience. We are working on a new release which will solve these issues.
  • App crashes continuously and landscape mode doesn’t work

I’m frustrated by this app. Bought a compatible bike and planned to use the free one-year membership to see if I liked the classes, but I’ve only been able to take one class because the app crashes so frequently. I’ve tried it on several different iOS devices. I switched to the Peloton app which is significantly better. Of course, they’ve got it set up so the bike doesn’t play nicely with Peloton, but I’d rather be able to sort of follow a ride through Peloton than fight this app for an hour. I really hope there are some upgrades planned. I absolutely would not pay for this.

  • Love the workouts - Tech a bit glitchy

My husband and I just bought the FTX Multi Functional Trainer in Aug 2020. We joined the app, and we’re loving the workouts. The app is a bit glitchy going through the Apple TV from our ipad and mirroring onto our big TV screen. After the 1st workout, if you try to select another workout, the app freezes up. Usually we end up rebooting everything to do another workout, or cool down. Tried un-mirroring, then reconnecting, but usually we are forced to reboot everything, including the app. Also, no way to flip or enlarge the picture on the ipad version of the app, or on the TV. Would be nice to have the full screen view of the workouts. Any chance you guys can fix the glitch? It’s a bit annoying - thus my 3-star rating.

  • Works Great For Me!

Works well on all 3 of my devises. Connects well to Apple TV. At only $9.99 per month it’s a bargain considering it’s why I have a home gym. Easy to use, great instructors, motivational, what more can you ask for?

    Get after it!
  • iPad app

Was having some issues with classes being shown on my iPad. I logged out and logged back in and it worked but would love to have the app turn landscape.

Would also love to be able to click on a upcoming class and save it and have the app remind me maybe an hour before class start.

Other than that my first workout was a great, did cycle with arms and was pouring sweat. Loved the stretching afterwards. For the price and the year of membership from Costco, this is amazing !

  • User error¿¡

I’d like to think that it’s user error that I can’t get any video to play or I can’t log into my account on my computer I’ve changed my password and I still can’t get into my account. What’s weird is any other app works just fine the workouts play without stopping to load/buffer. I’m really thinking of just deleting this app and canceling my subscription.
