Best music player period
I’ll just say this app is awesome! I just started using plex and I’ve always been frustrated with how most music players force me to use their navigation system. This app gives you so much control over how you want to set up the navigation and filter of your music files. Worth every penny for the in app upgrade. Don’t hesitate it’s worth the upgrade. It’s worth more in my opinion. Extremely good app for listening to music files via plex or Apple Music. Mainly plex.

I rarely rate apps but I am very impressed with this one. Well worth the $5 unlock to be able to fully unlock features and support development. Also unlike Plex iOS app this one does pass on the correct hires music 24/96 no problem to my dac. This is a well done app.jackuiowa
Wow it’s very impressive
I think this is pretty much the perfect music app for me. Ticks all of my boxes except maybe two, but the ones it does tick, it does them well. I enjoy the player itself and the filters are very effective and fun. What I wish was implemented was a grid view for the album art and artist pictures to make it faster to scroll through. If possible some sort of lyric view would also be amazing. This app is great and I have purchased it on both my iPad and iPhone, thank you!Show lessHexHasSixSides
Best music app I’ve ever used
Love the simple, no frills design. Very fast to use. Much better than the official Plex app, and Plexamp. Only thing it’s lacking for me is Playlist management.
Overall this is probably the best music app I’ve ever used. I use it every day. Worth every penny.mshindal
Use Plex? You NEED this app!
This is a perfect compliment to a Plex music library. You can access all of your music via streaming or download to your device. I’ve been using this app for several years and can’t recommend it enough. After a few days of using it I upgraded to the full version via in-app purchase and have no regrets.Show lessDropkick

I would love to see the built in feature to add and remove songs as well as create Playlist straight from the app, instead of having to go to the plex app to do it.MattSal123

Responsive developer, constantly evolving features. I wish the a Plex folks would take some initiative and hire people like this dev to enhance the user experience. The biggest gripes I have with music on Plex are the Plex folks’ fault so I can’t blame Prism.
I’d love to still have PlexMix!
This app has a great UI, open roadmap to see upcoming features, TestFlight builds, relatively active Reddit community and nice CarPlay interface.
Money well spent.

Great Plex music client
I’d been looking for a way to move my music collection out of iTunes for a while; I’d seen Plex, but it wanted a pretty expensive ongoing subscription just to let me copy my music to my phone. And then I ran across Prism, and it (combined with Plex on my Mac) solved my needs very nicely: now all my music is on my phone for a quite reasonable one-time fee, and I can play it in a nice, music-focused interface.Show lessDavid Carlton
Still buggy with CarPlay
I really like this app but it tends to lock up when using Apple Carlpay on my 2020 Tacoma. It got so bad recently that I had to delete the app from my phone, resync Plex and start all over again. It worked for a few days, then happened all over again. I am using an iPhone XR 128gb. Hope this is fixed soon because this really is a great app otherwise.Show lessPbandnv1
Great app, very useful, looks slick
I have a large collection of music on my Plex server. The Plex app works okay for streaming, but it doesn’t have the Apple CarPlay feature, Prism music has it and works well. I also needed the ability to download my music to my phone as I like to play my FLAC music files in the best quality without eating all my data.. again prism delivers on this front and without the need to subscribe to a PlexPass.
