  • Highly recommend Ivy pay

    I have been using Ivy Pay for four years. Originally as a clinician that was part of a practice last year, I became the owner of the practice and have used it for all of the transactions. I find their team very responsive, their rates are very low and the recordkeeping is very, very convenient even to look back on when clients return after an extended absence.
    I recently purchased an EHR system I was going to discontinue using Ivy Pay. What I found is Ivy Pay does everything I need to add a cost that is very low even compared to what my ER system is offering, so I am declining their service. As a bonus if you were a for another colleague to Ivy Pay, you get benefits from doing so.

  • As It Should Be

    I am very much enjoying using Ivy Pay. For an individual/LLC private contractor therapist like myself, it is a perfect solution that enables me to accept payments from a variety of types of cards, including HSA accounts. And with no individual swipe fee and a better rate than most, I believe that the service is well worth the fee. My clients feel extra secure, not having me have to hold - or even ever seeing – their card numbers, and I appreciate not having responsibility of trying to keep track of her cards and keep them safe. After your client is prompted through a text to input their card information into the HIPAA-compliant, secure app, future transactions are a matter of a push of a button, whether or not your client has their card with them at that session. I also appreciate the position in place is me in to be able to enforce my no-show and cancellation policies, as I do not need their physical card to charge appropriate fees. Their customer service has been amazing, both in the expediency of response time as well as quickly resolving my issues and answering my questions. and on top of it, all, they make it easy to share the app with others, who you feel may benefit from it, along with a financial incentive for both you and the new customer/therapist. if only all aspects of private practice ran as smoothly as Ivy pay! Highly reccomend!
  • Wonderful app. for solo practitioner

    I'm very pleased with Ivy Pay so far. I recently transitiioned to a small, cash-only private practice, and I wanted a simple, efficient way to collect fees, and Ivy Pay has met my needs in every way. It is very easy to set clients up, and once they have provided card details for payment, the whole process is simple and efficient. I'm especially pleased with the feature that allows the patient receipt to be set up like a super bill that patients can submit to insurance on their own. I reached out to customer support with a question recently, and the response was prompt and helpful. I must say that so far Ivy Pay has exceeded my expectations, and I would highly recommend it to other practitioners!
  • Best payment processing system for therapists

    I was with another payment processing system for years and was getting charged hundreds of dollars in fees every month at a high percentage rate. It was incredibly frustrating and ended up cancelling after hearing such great reviews of IVY pay. I’m SO glad I made the switch a couple years back. They are incredibly transparent in their fees and really feel like they are FOR the therapist. It feels they have thought of everything that makes the administrative stuff as seamless and minimal stress as possible. I HIGHLY recommend this to all my coworkers and to any other therapist looking to put more money back in their pocket and take away other tedious steps from their practice. Also, any time I have reached out for support the response time is incredibly fast, even on a holiday and have always received the best customer service! 10/10 recommend!
  • Excellent billing service for therapist

    I’ve been using Ivypay for 9 months now and I am enjoying it greatly. It’s very easy to use and it tracks payments accurately and quickly. I like that I don’t have to have a clients credit card and they don’t have to give it for every visit. Not a single client has complained about anything. It takes practice to learn all the options you have to use the system. I have found it takes a little persistence to get something resolved but I’ve had only positive experiences with the staff there who are all very enthusiastic. I’ve recommended it to some of my friends and they are loving using it. I can’t say enough about the pleasure of using Ivypay. It’s like they’ve thought of everything! I can’t recommend it more highly.
  • Highly Recommend IVY PAY

    I have been using IVY pay since the end of 2000 and cannot recommend the service more highly. I used Square previously. The fees at IVY are more reasonable and it is geared towards how a therapist, vs. a retailer, structures a business. Information is stored in a HIPAA compliant format. I can easily look at each client’s history of payments. IVY has reports of daily, weekly, monthly and yearly earnings. It is also very easy for clients to use when setting up or changing their payment information. IVY’s customer service is exceptional - I have never waited even 24 hours before getting a response to a request for help. And the IVY team is both professional and friendly. 5 stars!
  • Outstanding App with Amazing Customer Service

    I am a psychotherapist in private practice and have been using Ivy Pay for many years now.

    Recently, a client brought some charges into question, and I also thought it looked questionable so I reached out to customer service and in about 10 minutes someone got back to me! The customer service representative handled the situation with so much professionalism and grace.

    I highly recommend this app if you are a psychotherapist in private practice! It’s easy to use, everything is secure, and I have never actually have had a true issue in all the years I’ve been using this app and charging peoples credit cards! And the customer service is phenomenal!
  • Definitely recommend

    I am a therapist working alone and absolutely love utilizing this app. It makes collecting client payments super easy and also keeping track of appointments/notes. My only complaint is that the reminder message that is sent to clients before a session does not have any useful information in the actual message, rather a link to a portal that none of my clients seem to remember their login information for. I often hear the feedback from clients that they would rather have a text message reminder with the date and time of their next appointment, not the portal link. I love how easy it is to download my information for my taxes and record keeping purposes. I do wish there was an option to create a Superbill in the app for clients that request one, but even though it does not have that, it is pretty easy to make one myself based off of the provided information.
  • Seriously my favorite app

    This app is amazing!! I’ve been using Ivy Pay for a year and a half, and I have nothing but positive things to say! It is easy to use for therapists and clients, the support staff is always prompt and helpful, the costs are the best out there, and they constantly add new helpful features to make life easier for providers. The intention and thoughtfulness of the options and the simplicity of the design makes it one of my favorite apps to use. Do yourself a favor and start using Ivy Pay right away!
  • Great customer service, etc.

    When I send an email with a question to IvyPay, I always get a response within a day... they are helpful, kind and professional.
    I have also had a good experience with charging clients and the payment is deposited into my bank account within a couple of days. The credit card rates are lower than any other options I've found. I highly recommend!
