  • Great payment app!

I’ve used Ivy Pay for about a year now. I’ve saved SO much on credit card fees compared to my therapy portal processor! That’s the initial reason I switched. But now I much prefer Ivy Pay because it’s easy to bill with and send reminders if someone’s card is declined. Their customer service is super fast and responsive! I’ve reached out twice for very specific questions and they went above and beyond to help me. 99% of my clients use it. The other 1% prefers my therapy portal.
  • Easy to use + Great support

I have been using Ivy Pay for several months and am very happy with it. It is easy to use and provides a streamlined approach to collecting payments. I also take comfort in knowing it is HIPAA compliant. There have been a few challenges with getting the initial texts to go through to clients. This has been due to restrictive settings on clients’ cell phones, but Ivy Pay support has been phenomenal in getting these issues worked out smoothly and quickly. With a quick email, their team was on it with troubleshooting and guidance on how to resolve the issue that I could pass along to clients.
I have also enjoyed the rewards of passing along the Ivy Pay app as an option to colleagues!
  • I don’t normally write reviews

I don’t normally go out of my way to write reviews, but Ivy is so useful to me. I’m in private practice and having been using it for nearly two years. It was a good switch to make while seeing clients exclusively for telehealth. Clients do not mind having a card on file, and I appreciate the convenience of being able to charge for a missed session immediately or be able to charge a parents card when I see an independent teen. Parents prefer not having to send their card with said teen too. The fees are comparable or lower than elsewhere and there’s no card readers to deal with. I’ve had one client switch to paying cash because of the card on file, but that’s a prerogative. The only adjustment I had to make was waiting an extra day for payment from what I was getting before. I don’t even think about that anymore. Now Ivy has taken the headache out of providing Good Faith Estimates AND super bills for self paying clients, even those that do not pay with credit. Thank you!
  • Great app great price

The fees are very fair and the app is simple to use and stores the card info so you don’t have to ask clients for their card each time. Very convenient for telehealth. There are limitations like not having the ability to search by transaction number unless you compile a report and also not being able to easily have a group practice on here with one account having full control and “birds eye” view of everything but it’s coming in an app update. So far it’s very useful for us.
  • So much easier!!

Hello there! I’m a relatively new convert to IvyPay (Summer 2021) and really wish I’d done it earlier … but I’m a cautious sort. Knowing IvyPay is HIPAA compliant, secure, and seriously easy to use for clinicians and clients just relieves so much stress from my work day. With tele health, collecting payments was so much harder and I found myself hounding clients to remember to make their payments. IvyPay stores the credit card for the client and I just have to press the button. How easy is that? I just had to contact customer service for the first time about the Good Faith Estimate form that they offer now (and OMG Thank You!) and was contacted within 24 hours by a real person on email … with a courteous and easy answer! Then they contacted me back after I thanked them! Right away! A REAL person!!

Sooo… I encourage y’all to give it a try. I’m a convert. I don’t typically write reviews but felt this one deserved it. They “get” us.
  • Great help with bon-math brains

My accountant encouraged me to keep better track of my charges for my business. As a therapist, I know how to help peoples’ hearts and minds, not balance their books!

Nevertheless, I endeavored and ran into some issues simply because I’ve never done it before. When I reach out to the support team , Jules, one of the most patient and proactive members, took the time to help me understand the best way to factor percentages per charge for keeping great reconciled records.

For me it was tedious, but for Jules, it seemed to be second nature. Having that confident and effective support really makes one feel trust with one’s business is financials.
  • Incredibly easy for therapists

What I love about Ivy Pay is that it is simple and you do not need to use more than what you want. If you just want a simple payment system this is terrific. You can keep track of notes and other things if you want but don’t have to. On occasion things like the. “Good faith estimate” we need to now give clients end up being an awesome feature- prints it right up and sends it with a receipt. I did not need a complicated e-record or e-pay system as. This is perfect. I wish it were easier to use a desktop interface not just the phone app, but I still love this system. Also very intuitive to figure out and I have had very very quick responses for support requests. Highly recommended. Also- deposits come very quickly- No one likes the 3%fees but it’s hard to avoid this if clients want to use credit cards.
  • Makes billing easy and secure

I love Ivy Pay, and have been using it for years. I’m discerning about software, I compared several payment processing options, and I’m very happy that I picked Ivy Pay.

    Here are the reasons:

    HIPAA compliant.

Easy for the client. They enter their info once, and then don’t have to do anything else.

Easy for me. I can charge them for a session with the click of a button. Also, because I have their card on file, no more late payments.

It defaults to the last amount I charged the client. No more need to jog my memory for a client’s rate before charging them. For me, this is where I really feel that it’s been designed for therapists. (And it’s easy to charge a different amount if needed, such as if I do an extended session.)

Easy to send a link to the client if they need to update their card on file.

Rates comparable to other credit card services.

I’ve used them for years and the money has always been deposited on schedule

Monthly report sent by email, which is helpful to use when doing monthly bookkeeping.
  • Ivy is a great resource

I’m very happy with how responsive The Ivy team is. I haven’t had many issues, but whenever something did come up, they were very helpful and prompt. It’s easy to use and, with the new deposits ledger in place, super easy to reconcile all my transactions. With Ivy pay already in place, I get the ground running in the pandemic and never skipped a beat collecting payment. I’m delighted that they have the No Surprises forms so I’m fully compliant with the 2022 law.
  • No Surprises Act Support

IvyPay rolled out an add-on receipt in compliance with the No Surprises Act before our board even bothered to give us guidelines! They are so helpful, very responsive and super convenient. They’ve been a cornerstone of my private practice since nearly the beginning, it’s like having a receptionist, office manager and a bookkeeper right in your hands. My patients love it too. 10/10 would recommend (and have!). Genuinely love this service. Grateful for you IvyPay!!
