  • Best CC Processor

    I’m a licensed psychologist w a full private practice who has been using Ivy for years now. From front end to back end, Ivy and their customer service is the most efficient and fair. Only draw back is a slower speed from charge to deposit than competitors like square... but good luck getting help from a larger processor if you ever have a question or a problem. Peace of mind is worth waiting an extra day or two to see the money in my bank. Also, patients really like the ease of use during these remote service times.
  • Best App for therapists!

    I have a private practice that I started last year. It’s been a time consuming and at times overwhelming process deciding what products and services I need so that my practice runs smoothly. I absolutely love Ivy Pay! Not only because of how incredibly easy it is to use and set up, but because it’s the only service out there (as far as I know) that charges the smallest fee for providing this service. So I get to keep more of my money! It’s a win-win and I highly recommend it.
  • I love this app!

    I really love this app and recommend it to all my therapist friends. I have it four stars because there are just a few tweaks that IVY pay could make that would make it even better- for example- there should be choice options of manually transferring your money into your account or even setting it to every two weeks or once a month. As is, the first time you link your account, it transfers money everyday after that which is not ideal.
    I love the design and ease of use of the app, how safe it feels, how I never have to bother with billing after the first session with the client and the customer service is very kind and thorough and swift! All in all I am SO grateful I learned about this app!
  • Customer Service

    I emailed customer service at night for an issue a client was having retrieving a condensed printout of their receipts. When I woke up the next morning, the support team had already replied back with a thorough reply of what to do. I was pleasantly surprised by the quick reply and was able to also respond to my own client quickly. It was a win-win situation because of the promptness and support of the customer service team! Would highly recommend this platform!
  • Helpful. Useful. Easy

    I’ve been a full fee therapist for over a decade and Ivy Pay has been such a gift! Twice I’ve had to write in for help and I get a response is less than 24 hours. If I need clarification, they quickly respond and I am able to move on with my work. It is hassle free and THAT makes all the difference.

    The one suggestion I would make would be to allow clients to set up their payment on their desktop. Some of my older/elderly clients are uncomfortable with apps, with when it’s HIPPA compliant.
  • Easy to use

    I’ve been using Ivy Pay for almost two years. It’s easy and fast to learn and use. It’s also easy to resend the client an Ivy Pay text if they need to change their credit card. I can also change the amount of the charge in case the client owes a co-insurance amount instead of of a co-payment.

    The best thing is their customer service. They answer questions thoroughly and kindly. They also automatically send me monthly reports. I don’t know what to do with these monthly reports but that’s how transparent and informative their service is.

    Glad that I am using them. It’s a very helpful service.
  • Glad I finally gave Ivy Pay a try

    I’m such a holdout and have been resistant to accepting online payments for years. With the pandemic, it seemed like the right time to try this, since I’m seeing everyone virtually. I checked the program out online and then a customer service person reached out to me and answered any questions I had. Replies were prompt, accurate, and friendly.

    All I needed was a program to accept payments. Ivy Pay handles this easily. Everything is smooth and clear. Clients have said they find the program easy to respond to and I appreciate that I can get payments more quickly than waiting for a check in the mail. Payments are deposited within a day or two. I wish that I had tried this sooner but am completely satisfied with the program and have recommended Ivy to other therapists I know.

    I love using IvyPay for my practice and it makes payments super easy, simple and clients appreciate the ease of setting it up once and not having to bother with it again. I work with teens and it’s nice that parents get payment confirmation when session ends so they know it occurred. I also really appreciate being able to see my monthly income at a quick glance at any time on my phone. The customer service is always helpful and really responsive. I’ve been using it for years (since there early days) and feel grateful to have something so simple to offer to my clients. Technologically challenged clients also can usually figure it out with guidance.
    Looking forward to seeing what new features they may add in the future. The flat rate is really great comparatively to other services and keeps it straightforward. HIPAA compliance is also a huge benefit to keep confidentiality secure down to bank statements.
  • Best mental health payment app

    This is one of the best and most HIPAA compliant payment apps out there. The tax is lower than most other forms of payment. The support team is very responsive and provides thoughtful answers.

    The downside is no weekend deposits and no instant transfer. There are no invoices. The good news is if you submit payments before 4 pm M-F you get same day deposits otherwise it’s 1-2 business days. I utilize my note taking system for the form of invoice as I keep track of payments on there and then the receipts shared with clients through text can serve as their invoice as well or make spreadsheets for them.

    All in all it is a very good system and helps keep my clients and myself safe and HIPAA compliant!
  • Great resource for solo practitioners

    I’ve been in private practice for more than 25 years and I am always on the lookout for tools to effectively manage the business side of my work. Ivy Pay is easy to use and has a relatively low fee structure. It is about the simpler and less expensive than my old credit card processing company. My clients like it. I particularly like that yet makes processing as quick and easy as possible so I can get back to work. Customer support has been great. Highly recommended.
