  • Reliable and easy

    Been using IvyPay in my private practice for over a year now. Remains a breeze to use. Design is intuitive. Fees are low. Processing is efficient. I don’t use it for notes, just payments, and would check the fine print of their privacy policy if I did begin to use it for notes. But when I discovered today that they had included a feature to send clients the new required Good Faith Estimate (GFE), I was thoroughly impressed. They must have top notch developers to get that turned around so quickly.
  • Great billing app for therapists

    I love this app. It is so easy to use. The system I used in the past was so cumbersome that I often put off doing it for days or weeks. Ivy Pay makes it simple to take a few seconds after each session, tap a couple buttons and get paid. I’m sure the app has many more bells and whistles, but I’ve never needed that. The customer support is beyond awesome. I recently sent in a question, and got a personal response from a real person within a couple of hours.
  • IVY Pay is the best!!

    I’ve been using IVY Pay for quite a while now after trying Square. I would waste 10 minutes of my clients’ sessions trying to swipe their card when I used Square. IVY pay has helped me avoid doing that and has been the best change I’ve made in my practice in a long time. I had a client ask a question about getting a receipt and received a response from Jules immediately. I was so happy to share a quick response with my client after my question was answered. I would recommend IVY pay to all therapists in private practice!
  • wonderful service

    I started my private practice in March of this year, and I heard so many recommendations for Ivy Pay that they were really the only people I considered for helping me manage credit card payments. I saw some other reviews that lamented problems with linking bank accounts and customer service issues, but I did not encounter any problems whatsoever so I guess they ironed things out. Instead I experienced a pretty seamless service with fantastic customer service, they go above and beyond the call of duty and I am always left feeling very well supported. Not that I have to call them often at all. Highly recommend.
  • The product is excellent, the service is even better

    Ivy Pay was introduced to me by my former employer. It is simple to use, and I have peace of mind regarding privacy and security. Having been in sales, I understand the product gets the client in the door however it’s the service that keeps them there. I had a question regarding a transaction, emailed Support in app, response in less than five min, problem resolved in 10! That’s the best service I’ve received even pre-pandemic. Jules @ Ivy Pay client support was amazing!
  • Making life easier

    For years (42) I have charged my clients at the end of each session and gave them a paid statement. As time progressed fewer of my clients carried check books and I had to send more statements in the mail. This took more time and resulted in delayed payments.
    Then my son who is also an LCSW with his own practice suggested IVY.

    I am really relieved of so much of the time and stress of the past billing. It is so easy to just charge at the end of each session, get paid within a day and not have to worry about delayed payments. The charge IVY puts on each transaction is worth it to me. Almost all of my clients agreed to use IVY and it makes it easier for them. As a sidebar, with COVID this system was great while everyone was meeting virtually, waiting for checks was not an issue.
  • The Most Efficient Support Ever

    Ivy Pay is the easiest payment app to use ever. I've never had any kind of issue, only questions and the support team literally gets back to me in less than an hour every single time. They have given clear instructions on complicated matters with the first response, no waiting, no sending it to another team, just actual help. Feels good to have smooth assistance from a team with my best interests at heart.
    My clients love it, my colleagues love it...its just great. Thanks ivy pay for all you do!
  • A great resource for your practice

    Ivy pay has been so convenient for my clients and very easy for me to use! I assumed clients would object to having a card on file, but they have been appreciative that they only have to upload their card once and it’s taken care of after that on my end. And to be able to use FSA or HSA cards has been so helpful! Customer service is responsive and helpful to questions and I’ve encountered no problems. So glad I made the switch!
  • Helps us focus on therapy

    IvyPay has been a great way for us to collect credit card and HSA payments quickly and easily. Our patients like keeping control of their own information. We like the relative ease of use. The weekly reports (emailed as an Excel file) contain a lot of helpful information for tracking payments.

    I gave it 4 stars because more training options would be helpful. Both for us to use the app and to see what our patients experience so we can answer their questions. But the staff has been very responsive and helpful to our support requests so we are getting the information as we go. Here are some things we have learned:
    *You must run the app on a phone or tablet; using a computer is not an option.
    *It appears to be designed for use by therapists working alone. We use it in a clinic setting, but the confirmation texts go to our primary clinician (not the office manager). And there is no way to input which therapist is being paid (You can manually calculate that from info in the weekly report.)
    *Patients must provide a cell phone number. Ivy communication occurs via text message.
    *Messages — at least the initial invite — do not include our practice name, just Ivy. Patients may ignore it if not forewarned.
    *Card info is recorded on a website...if that is a concern for you or your patients.
    *If patients do business with more than one Ivy therapist, they have to set up a separate account with each one.

    This may look like a lot, but overall we are quite happy!
  • Great therapist option!

    I was with a different credit card processor for more than five years. They charged me a higher percent and 25c per transaction. I switched and am saving $150 month. The app is very easy to use and I can charge each client easily after each session by just pressing a button! Customer Servs are very accessible and super helpful. My only wish is that the client didn’t receive a text each time I charged them, but that is unavoidable on this model. Overall I’m really pleased and would absolute recommend this platform.
