  • Not built for iPAD

    The app works okay but I don’t use it on a phone, but rather on my iPAD. It is annoying that I can’t get the camera display to display full screen in horizontal mode. It just enlarges the display somewhat and rotates it so it is sideways. If I rotate my iPAD it rotates the display. I would like to be able to enlarge the display in whatever mode I am in on the iPAD (Landscape or portrait). I also agree with another reviewer that two of my cameras will beep then rotate 360 degrees at odd hours any time during the day for no apparent reason. Very annoying and the camera does NOT return to it’s previous position so I have to constantly reset it.

  • Needs Landscape Mode for iPad….

    App is generally good, but please make a version that landscape mode actually works in for IPad or MacBooks. Landscape only works on an iPhone. Would also be nice to be able to easily change WIFI networks, as you can’t do this currently, and some of us have multiple WIFI networks. The 1080p FHD mode is also nice, but it has to manually be turned on, constantly. If there was a setting to constantly keep it on, and upload in this mode to the cloud, that would be nice. Final request…if the app could be used side-by-side (on one screen) with other apps on iPad, as this is not currently available.

  • Needs to add features offered by others

    1. Where is human filter? I need to reduce so many false alarms with the wind moving tree limbs. Notes. By turning on the human alarm in the intelligent detection alarm, the camera can only alarm when a person appears in the picture, filtering out unnecessary wind and grass movements. You can also customize the alarm area to make the alarm more targeted
    2. Need speed X setting to fast forward
    3. Need to turn off lights as I put my bulb in a glass light fixture and the light just reflect and blurs the view

  • Not having problems

    I wonder if I have the one camera that works? No issues to get it working and I regularly move it around the house plug it in a open the app and it seams to reconnect without issues. I’m thinking everyone having problems probably needs to look at the security settings on Wi-Fi modem/ routers and have a strong signal so the camera can communicate and make sure your using 2.4GHz setting up. It’s cloud service is not something I’m interested in as it seems full of privacy issues. It is a low level budget system that surprisingly works great but I probably jinxed myself and tomorrow will crap out lol….

  • Not worth it so far

    I don’t think I’ve wasted so much time on something so silly before now. There needs to be better instructions including a how to camera reset IMHO. This camera may work fine but it shouldn’t be this hard to get it connected nor to get ahold of the app or instructions. The bot helper is not a help and the community support topics scare me considering I’m just trying to get mine going and there isn’t an entry for resetting, I can only look to the other topics to predict how many more may be ahead. If I don’t fiber this out soon I’ll just return it.

  • “Activity” option needs direct access from “Alert”

    My camera already records 24x7. Please make the alert have a direct link to my full “activity” so I can see the full clip directly from my SD card. Currently, i have to leave the alert… note the date and time … than go to Activity and find the clip again. It’s inconvenient.

    Wyze camera does this better by linking the full clip directly from the alert for FREE.

    Again, the data is already there, so please make it accessible from the alert itself so I don’t have to search for it. Thank you.

  • Need an update ( loops recording)

    The camera is cool and does a decent job of recording. However, it has a lot of flaws. For one it’s doesn’t have a fast forward button or a way to watch the video fast. You have to sit there and watch the video slow. Second, the motion detector is subpar at best. It always shows bugs flying into the camera but it doesn't show when something major happens(Unless you have the camera rolling all the time) Overall the camera is good but few updates here and there would make this app even better. Is it possible to have loop recording for prowl using a memory card? That would go a long way.

  • Good camera

    I have two dome cams in house and I just bought a third one on its way. The cams are quite good and up until now haven’t had any issues at all.
    Lately one of my cams has been beeping and then turning 360 degrees every time it beeps. This beeping happens often and I am not sure what the problem is. I do not have the same issue with the other cam. I have reset the camera and still the issue persists. I have researched the issue online and in app with no solution. The company is really hard to get in touch with and their customer care is not at all the best. They have a good product but it isn’t followed by a good support team and thus I give it a four star, tempered with a three star but I like the cams very much. How do I resolve the issue? Why does it beep all the time? There is no specific time in which it does it. Sometimes it beeps more often than others and other times it doesn’t beep that much. The beeping is annoying as it does it at all hours of day and night. Help!

  • UPDATES SCREWING UP THE APP!!

    The app was updated and they REMOVED the date/ time that showed during video playback on the SD card which makes it WORTHLESS! The date/time is VERY IMPORTANT, especially if you need the video for evidence. Also, when playing video on the SD card it plays for a few seconds and then jumps to the END of the recording so you have to keep rewinding back. EVERY time they update the app they seem to mess up the SD card playback, perhaps so people will buy the expensive cloud storage! My advice is to buy a camera with a functional stable app. I sure am, but I’m going to make sure I research the App BEFORE I spend money on the camera. Lesson learned!

  • Works good without direct wire

    I bought because of a sell price. Kept having connections and the manufacture sent a replacement real fast. I have been using for over a year. It has same issue as much more expensive Night Owl cameras I have. It does not catch very slow or very fast movement. Don’t like only six seconds even using SD card on my phone app. The nice thing is on my computer I can view everything on the SD card.
