  • Loved it, until.

    I loved the banking experience! The only problem I had at the beginning was the slow money transfers into my account. I loved the layout of the bank and was impressed by the whole experience. Until...I got a extremely disappointing email from Axos that they prohibit ANY crypto currency purchasing. This was extremely disappointing as ally bank and others are crypto friendly as it is truly a part of the free economy. I would rate Axos 5 stars if they didn’t prohibit crypto and if the money transfer fees were faster regarding moving money from one account to another. Thanks for reading! Have a great day.

  • You won’t be able to pull your money out

    I have used the app and saved for a few years and recently accumulated enough money and wanted to pull out. This was the first time I tried to pull large sums out of my accounts and could not believe how long this process takes. They advertise it takes 7-10 business days. Well I’m going on 8 weeks. And after calling and calling and receiving excuses like all the withdrawals were canceled in our system for some reason, Or we have to reinstate the transfer because it should have moved to your account, I decided to close my accounts. It has now been an additional two weeks and still have not had the funds transferred to my account. I also recommend getting email proof which is what I did for my last closure request and had Kam send me email (not that it helped) Don’t believe me, I encourage you to try and take out a large sum from any account or milestone. You won’t get your money. I will continue to update on this matter.

    I have switched to M1 finance and so far so good with even more growth of my investment.

  • It’s not letting me take my money out!!

    I have a brokerage account with this bank. I’ve been trying to take my money out for literally over a month I’ve sent several emails since there is no phone number to speak to a rep. After a week I received an email that they were going to ACH my money and close my account.
    I understand that it can take 3-5 business days and even 6. But after that email it has taken 8 business days and I still haven’t received my money.
    Please avoid these types of banks where they are willing to take you money weekly with no problem the way I was contributing to my portfolio, but no phone number and such a bad experience where you can’t even take your own money out.
    When this was wisebayan it was great. It’s all coming downhill from that moment forward

  • Worthless...

    I have tried for two months to get the right documentation to customer service so that I may get my access account open. Every time I contact customer service, they tell me to do one thing or another. When I do those things, nothing happens. I don’t get contacted, I have to call them or contact them by email, and then nothing still happens. I did multiple searches on the best online banking, and access was at the top. I have absolutely no idea why. This company has some serious issues with opening accounts. I would love to actually give a review on the app, but I have never been in it since I’ve never been able to open an account.

    Save yourself some time, and just find another bank...

  • Product is great but the app is awful right now

    I have an Axos Investing account, previously WiseBanyan prior to Axos acquiring them, they recently moved everything from the app created by WiseBanyan over to the Axos Bank app, and it’s been extremely disappointing. Withdrawal times have increased considerably, functionality on the app is not great, you can’t review transactions, you can see a dividend happened on an account, but doesn’t tell you how much it is, basically if you want to review your account you need to use the desktop version of the webpage, I’m sure they are working on cleaning it all up, and I don’t know the business behind choosing to transition now, but it feels like the new app wasn’t fully ready to handle it all. The investing product is great and fits my needs perfectly but will be keeping an eye on the progress of the app.

  • The app just isn’t functional, can’t access money

    For many of us, our path to Axos Bank started at an investment app called WiseBanyan, which eventually became Axos Invest, with a more recent forced integration with Axos Bank. The initial change made everything a bit worse, but the recent transition took us from a totally serviceable app and website to one that both lacks core services that made investment with them worthwhile AND just isn’t functional on a basic level. Lots of crashes, lots of the website/app simply doesn’t work, it’s a nightmare.

    What’s really frustrating, though, is that there clearly hasn’t been any effort in customer service. I sent a support request asking about some of the functionality on the site along with the status of a transfer I’d submitted over a week prior that hadn’t gone through, and on top of all the functionality I asked about being unavailable, my transfer had been canceled without any notification. I followed up the next day asking why my transfer had been canceled and if my new request could be expedited in any way. No response. I followed up 4 days later. Still no response. If I can’t easily access my money and can’t get any response about why I can’t easily access my money, why in the world would I stick with this bank?

  • So many bugs

    In the past day, I’ve been locked out of my account because I tried tapping the Face ID button to login, had document upload failures, been pestered repeatedly to upload signature card (like every other screen I tap on) – even when I was in the process of uploading the signature card it then bugged me again to upload the signature card. Every couple of seconds there’s a loading indicator that sits there for several seconds for no reason whatsoever, even when I’m typing a message to support. Only my wife’s debit card showed up, mine never did. I had to create my account twice because the first time they completely lost a record of it.

    You do not want to bank with this company.

  • Moving out

    I almost never write reviews but I am so frustrated with the transition. I have been a customer since their Wisebanyan days. When they moved to Axos Invest, it was a bit choppy but not too bad and over the last few years it has mostly been a positive experience. But everything started going downhill a few months ago. First, the mandatory fees (agreed they were the last holdouts but it still made me sad). Second this awful awful transition to combine the investment accounts with banking accounts. Almost everything you can imagine going wrong went wrong. It has been so frustrating. I have called several times, stayed on lines for >30 min and still couldn’t reach anyone. I still don’t have my tax forms for this year. So finally, I have decided to move my money out. Will likely be heading to betterment or something similar. RIP Axos Invest. Everyone else - avoid it for your sanity.

  • Where did the fantastic Axos Invest go?

    I’ve been a member of Axos Since 2016 and during my 4 years with them, they have performed admirably and given a fantastic experience. I can say with out a doubt they botched this migration to Axos Bank. Most features are not working, and the ones that are give far less information then before.

    I truly liked using this service, but I’m migrating out due to such an awful experience. The migration has been going on for weeks and there was a long period you could not even access your money.

    Maybe in a few months they will be ready and polished again, but I can’t wait that long. Even something as simple as my weekly deposit isn’t showing up after 3 business days from being taken out of my bank account. The service has suffered from the migration and not for the better

  • Migration to this app is a HUGE downgrade

    You all really messed up with this migration. Forcing investment users into this banking app when it’s significantly lower quality was a HUGE mistake. Like others that have submitted similar reviews, I’ll be pulling my money out and moving to another platform. You can’t do this to users with no explanation of when they can expect to be at parity with the UI and features they were used to and satisfied with in the other app. Really terrible decision making by your product team and ultimately your leadership. Why would anyone trust you with their money after this? I hope you fix this soon you have a ton of really good competition that are doing a better job than you. I also feel bad you are subjecting your customer support team to what I can only assume is an onslaught of angry customers. Shame on you.
