  • DON’T ADD CREDIT CARD

The app will take your card information and take your money and take no responsibility for ANY unwanted charges or charges made in error. Basically they’ll take your money and say they aren’t responsible for getting it back to you. My provider passed away. I couldn’t exactly ask them or the family for a refund or ask them to stop my payments. The app offered no solutions, they just said it wasn’t their responsibility. How are they unable to remove my card from their app???!!!

  • Hard to navigate and calendar connect - NONE

I personally can’t stand this app…I know it’s personal preference but finding docs that have been uploaded j find hard to find…generally everything is not intuitive to me BUT WORSE it never ever adds my appointment to my calendar and that’s a basic requirement of any sort of appointment system. I won’t be using a practitioner in the future if they use this app.

  • Deeply mediocre is right

Trying to click on the fill in areas is a pain. I hate documenting here because it jumps everywhere but where you click sometimes. Might be good gif the provider but I’m thinking I’ve used much better user friendly apps for tracking my diet etc.
  • Now what?

From a client’s point of view, I think the app is excellent for the ease of use when logging data. The barcode scanner feature is efficient and the organization of food diary categories with their own sections for reflection/moods is very helpful.

I understand that this app was created for clinicians to support their clients. Currently, I require support from my clinician, however, I will eventually be “weaned” from this support which leaves me wondering how I can transition and maintain some consistency with regard to logging data. I am working off of the assumption that a client’s access to the app is no longer an option once they no longer require the services of their clinician. Is that assumption correct?

If so, is there a “sister app” to Practice Better for clients to continue logging data when clients no longer require the support of their clinician?

As a client, I have grown quite comfortable and accustomed to the user-friendly interface of your product but am concerned about having to transition to a different app with new interface and less or contrasting features. Thank you for your time and consideration.

  • Very useful

I really enjoy being able to track my fitness and nutrition so easily. I see that you can link a Fitbit product with the app, but not an Apple Watch. Being able to link my Apple Watch with the app would be a welcome addition!
  • Some Feedback

I used the app for the first time today and found it really frustrating that the food selections cannot be modified. For example, when building a recipe, there is no option to increase one chicken breast to two or more. I am used to using the Noom app which has this functionality. How can I build a recipe for one when I typically cook for two with leftovers for another dinner or lunch.
Maybe there is a way to do this in the app but I couldn’t find it.

On a positive note, I like the app layout, especially capturing time of day, mood and where food was eaten.

  • Journals are completely unusable

I could care less about the rest of the communication on this app as I can, and most often do, use my computer for the heavy duty paperwork. The journals boast barcode scanning and are much easier to keep up with on my phone, so today was my first day to log my food journals and the entire experience was completely unsatisfactory. You cannot search for a brand name + product; it only pulls up the generic ingredient or you have to scan the barcode on your package to get the information specific to your ingredients. Creating a recipe of your own is an absolute nightmare and the app has kicked me off multiple times without saving any of my work. Ready to throw it all out the window and go back to paper logging.

  • Hate it

From a patient. It’s awkward. Very confusing. I find myself flipping in and out of tabs and not finding information I’m looking for. Just hate it. 3 weeks now.
  • Horrible

Very hard to get around in. Especially when you already have brain fog and other health issues that make it 20x’s worse. I tried and tried to contact physicians but only was able to get through to tech support without any help from them instructing me how to get through to physicians. Very frustrating and extremely nerve racking. Is there no better place app that can be used instead of this useless app? Has to be something much better than this.
