  • Limited use

Good to connect with your nutritionist, but only on a one-on-one basis. Not good if you want to connect with your spouse or friends, so you can share your journey together.
  • No user friendly

Unable to see how this is helpful, unable to find my information or anything of use. As long as it is free I will keep it on my phone but not using it.
Others reviewers are not liking it either!
  • My experience

The concept of the app is wonderful. However, the customer service and reaching a help center representative is terrible. Excellent in sign up and deducting your plan payment but nothing else. Don’t waste your time and money.
  • Good but could be better

It’s good so far, one month in, but would like a search bar to search things in my program.
  • Solid but room for improvement

It’s great for the breakdown of nutrition, as well as scheduling and messaging with your practioner.
However, it’d be nice to have the app have more swerving options for sizes so we don’t have to figure out percentages.
Also, it syncs with Fitbit but not Apple Watch, which is a great pain.

Small annoyance- water serving is 8.5oz instead of 8. Not sure why that’s a thing.

  • Not user friendly!

It is difficult to navigate. When I am supposed to say I’m completed with a task it doesn’t let me show I have completed it. Also, logging your food doesn’t give you options of amounts that I actually ate. It is very confusing!!!!
  • Great app

This app has exceeded my expectations. Excellent features. It’s simple to keep track of my food intake. And it’s easy to communicate with my nutritionist as well. Top marks.
  • Has potential

I would be interested to know if there is a place to submit enhancement requests. There are definitely positives about this app but some much needed improvement (I’ve included pros below my cons):

    CONS

    * doesn’t integrate with apple health. Best I could do was get a free Cronometer account so I could sync some basic health data but i couldn’t get sleep data to sync so I have to hand enter that daily.

    * there’s a copy feature of a meal from the prior day but it only copies to the same meal so if you want to log leftovers from dinner as your lunch there’s a lot of editing that you need to do to move it from dinner to lunch on the current day.

    * on the same topic, it’s not intuitive to only have the copy feature work on the day you are viewing. I always go to the day where the meal was a few days ago because I don’t remember that I had the veggies on Tuesday and the meat on Wednesday which are going into my lunch today. The current setup requires me to find what days and what meals those items were in, then navigate back to the current day and click on the copy button to bring them in. And it doesn’t let you bring in just one item. It brings in the whole meal so you have to, again, do some editing to fix it.

    * You cannot copy just one item from a prior day and since the package is probably tossed, it can take some research to find the same item that I scanned via barcode before. So I either choose to do the copy thing above and edit or I hunt for the correct item. There is a recent items list but it’s pretty short and not even for the full week prior.

    * visualization should be better. I want to see how I did for the week both in comparison to each day and in total. I also want to see how my micronutrients match up to daily recommended values

    * adding a recipe is nice but the order of the macro and micro nutrients is strange. Would prefer the order to match a standard US label order with the extra stuff at the bottom in alphabetical.

    * Would like an option to add your own micronutrients if they aren’t listed. Also, would be nice to put a percentage instead of the grams or micrograms since many packages only say 4% calcium but do not give you the actual measurement (as an example)

    * there’s no way to view the ingredients I added to a recipe within the journal. The only way to see this is in the “my recipes” area but if I tweaked a recipe on a particular day it would be nice to have control of what is included directly in the journal.

    * barcode scanner doesn’t always work even if the item is listed in the database. When adding a new food, would be nice to be able to add pictures of the barcode so it will be added to the database.

    * when reporting a discrepancy in a database item, would be nice to be able to fix the macros and micros for my own journal so it’s correct without having to add a new food item.

    * would like a link in the menu to the website version

    * I’m scared to update my phone to iOS 16 bc I read another review that the barcode scanner stopped working on that upgrade.

    * Adding sleep time should be a start and end time with an estimated amount of interruptions. The start time + hours slept requires a lot of counting in my head.

*Adding water should be by oz not cups. Some of my water bottles are 15, 18, or 20oz and that’s annoying to calculate with the current cups feature. Instead of the +1 +2 + 3 cup buttons it should be +6oz +8oz +10oz +12oz etc so you can calculate your own based on cup size. If I need to report I drank 24 oz, I’d click on the +12 twice as an example.

    PROS:

    * easily communicate and schedule with nutritionist

    * simple UI, easy to use

    * nice onboarding videos

    * not inundated by ads which allows me to focus on what I’m doing

    * this is one of the first macro/micro nutrient tracking apps that I’ve been able to make a habit

    * love the mood questions and other journaling options. Really helps me reflect on how the food made me feel and if I’ve been waiting too long to eat.

Will update this review as things change or I discover new things I wish it had. If there’s a formal place to submit these requests, would be happy to do that as well.

  • Overall good

Overall, like the app! Wish it integrated with my Apple Watch and not just Fitbit. Is that in the future? Please!!!
  • Not to easy!!!

The idea is excellent but the app is confusing, should have colors or something else to make it easier to navigate and not to repeat the articles, it has a lot dead ends , poor design and directions it’s FRUSTRATING
