  • Needs better Functionality

I’m used to using my fitness pal which has a lot more and better functionality. It’s a lot more user friendly than the Better app. This app is ok and you just have to make it work if this is what your trainer uses. Would like to see a better UI for the user especially for food tracking
  • Marina Salvan Review

Marina, my step mother, saw that I was struggling to juggle my weight gain, depression, anxiety, and gluten free dieting. In just a matter of a month, she helped show me the best way to cope with healthier food choices. She tracked what my routine was, helped me ease into the change, and gave me recipes options and food options. All that was still delicious. She took into account what I did and didn’t like. When I started this I was 145. In a month I lost 10 pounds. I never had any energy, motivation, or anything. I’m more confident, I eat healthier, and I got back into exercise. Thank you so much, it’s made a huge difference. Love you 😍

  • Leaves a bad tast in your mouth

This is one of the worst apps I’ve ever used. Very poor flow, some areas are not intuitive at all, and I simply hate using it but it’s what my nutritionist uses. I’m actually going to write up some instructions for her to help others. I put off logging food tho till I have to put it in. It’s that painful. Oh, and Siri doesn’t work well either.

  • Keeps logging me out

I like the app but I have to sign back in every time I close it. Can this be fixed?
  • Good intentions, clunky execution.

Would love to be able to archive previous challenges and have better navigation between checking off tasks. Love this aesthetic of the platform and the main objective but there are some user quirks. Would love a refreshed update.
  • Love the app!

Efficient way to communicate with my health provider 🙂
  • Maybe a new update soon?

I love the idea of the app. However it’s execution is jenky to use. Everything is delayed when I hit buttons. It’s difficult to navigate. Some of the pages aren’t user friendly for when I’m trying to do something quickly like add a meal. I understand there’s a ton going on in the app, but it’d be nice if it were more streamlined.

  • Crashes while entering journal entries

On iPhone 11 pro max (also iPhone 6s) it intermittently crashes while entering journal entries. Have to write post in Notes and copy and paste.

  • It’s a good start

I’m 5 days in and I love all of the features of this app! Here’s what I wish was BETTER:
    - Navigation from food journal to home screen. You have to hit the back button about six times. Where’s the home button?
    - Ability to shut off pop up screen after entering meals.
    - Easier navigation on food journal screen to enter mood before/after. There’s a lot of scrolling and that field doesn’t stand out. If anything is going to pop up after I enter my lunch, it should be the screen asking how I felt before eating.
    - In Food Journal, better use of colors other than gray so each meal stands out better and I can easily find comments that my coach leaves there for me.
    - Add “My Resources” from the web version to the app. I didn’t even know I could add a different journal.
    - I also didn’t know that “My Resources” would lead to more customization and haven’t looked at the options there yet because I need to be on the computer to do it. What I thought would be in that menu was articles, helpful links, tools, that sort of thing. And with the colors used, it looks like something that would have the same content for everyone, not just my account. I thought that would be under my profile or Settings.
    - Ability to view larger profile photo. I want my coach to see how hawt I was at 21. Lol.
    - Consistent use of the top navigation. The header and dashes should always be at the top, no matter which page you’re on.

Like I said at the beginning, I love everything this app offers. It is a central place for my coaching relationship and all of the conversations pertaining to it. It helps me keep these aspects more private than mixed in with personal talk in texts and/and endless emails. I see it’s a newish app with regular updates, so I have hope that it’ll become more user friendly in the near future.
