  • Use Taskrabbit for furniture assembly needs instead.

    Like all of the other negative reviews, this company underpays the contractors & wayfair charges the client double or triple the amount for the assembly. We get $41 for a bedframe assembly or $51 for a dresser, when the customer pays over $100. You always have to be on them if you don’t receive a payment or if the time of assembly goes over their estimates. Customers constantly cancel or reschedule jobs so don’t rely on this job as your sole income. The work they expect you to do for the pay sometimes is laughable, like a kids bunk bed for $51. If you’re a worker don’t waste your time, if you’re a client don’t waste your money on their assembly services. Get better service and skilled workers through Taskrabbit for assemblies, mounting or any tasks you need done.

  • Great job to have, and fun to meet all sorts of different people!

    It’s very convenient be able to pick your own hours, and choose what jobs you want to take or not. I really love providing a service for people that makes them happy and get paid to do it!

    (The only downside is that on the application I hit the contact button to contact the customer, and the correct contact info has never once been provided. This causes a huge problem because if you have a hard time finding their residence (in an apartment complex) ,and you have no way to get ahold of the customer, now you are late to the job and could possibly get penalized for it. It’s even worse when Wayfair’s Pro customer service line is closed. It’s something that I think needs to be fixed asap because it not fair to the customer to think you’re intentionally tardy when that isn’t the case. That’s the only reason I took aware 1 star.)

    Besides that I think it’s a great app and a great company to work for! Everyone from wayfair pro customer service is very helpful when you do call and overall it’s an amazing job! I definitely recommend giving it a try!

  • Removed Paused Account

    I really enjoyed using Wayfair Service Pro to make some side money when I was living in Charleston.. however I started traveling in February and thought I had “Paused” my account, and since returning to the states and wanting to again use the app to make some extra cash I find out they’ve completely removed my account. I’ve lost all of my reviews, all of my progress, and they are telling me I have to go through the whole application process again which could take up to a month. Incredibly frustrated with their process on paused accounts, they also communicated none of this to me so here I am back in the states and at square one. Thanks guys!! You rock!

  • Never work for this company

    I worked for this company for 2 years . One day my car broke down and had to reschedule 4 of the assignments I had . They charged me a cancellation fee of $160 . It was $40 for each job I couldn’t do that day . I think it’s insane for me to get charged because a situation happened with my car . Been loyal for so many years but now I will be finding work elsewhere since they just proved if a emergency happens they will charge you fees . I made $80 Monday and $90 the next day . That means with the fees I will not be paid for the 2 days I already worked this week

  • Great Social Security, supplemental income

    I’ve been doing this for about 18 months, I’m retired, this has been a great way for me to keep busy and make a little extra income as well. I don’t really work too hard. I only work about four days a week. I take maybe one or two jobs a day, I stay away from the complicated or heavy ones. And do not work Saturdays or Sundays. I only make an extra couple hundred dollars a week plus tips and I pick up extra handyman jobs along the way. I have met other service pros that actually make a living doing this, but they hustle and a couple that I met do about three or four jobs a day, and one that I am, that actually works with his wife as a team, and they seem to do OK, but they hustle, to me. This is been great way to get out of The house and keep a little busy. Much better than Uber.

  • Hardly ever any jobs

    I have been using the app for about a year now in the Baltimore market and I can only book about 1 - 3 jobs a month. I get notifications of new jobs but as soon as I click the notification the app says the job has already been booked, I literally click the link as soon as I get the notification sometimes and still the job is booked already 🤔. I don’t know if other people are using bots to book these jobs or if wayfair is sending out fake notifications just to get me to check the app but I have been disappointed in the lack of work available.

  • Total Joke , save your energy

    Attempted to join platform for over 60 days. Upon finally being approved i was told to upload a clear photo to be able to book jobs , understandable ! , but after uploading 9 different photos with all the requirements they needed , i kept being declined and support was no help. Ill stick with Tasker platform or Ikeas platform , less headache and pays better.

  • Untrustworthy

    Under paid, late payments & non communication. Work is scarce & unreliable. Overall experience not well. They over charge the customer & pay the assembler less….less than half of what they charge the customer.
  • Don’t waist your time

    Don’t waist your time. They sand many notifications for job availability you click on the notification at the second you receive it and it let you know it’s not available no more it don't make any sense no one he’s the time to look at the job even not to claim It. Did not hed the chance to claim even one job Support just do copy paste don’t even care about you! most prices don’t make sense to assemble bunk bed with stairs and desk $80 that will take you about 4 hours the average job is $20-40 for they claim 2 hour job unless it’s next door to your house I don’t see this happening

  • Service Pro ratings

    Easy to use App, although there are a few things, I think that would be helpful. Having trouble syncing work schedule to my calendar and that would be a great help to me if that could be figured out why it’s not syncing other than that easy to use.
