  • Deadbeat, all flash, no substance corporation.

    Be warned. This company offering a niche concept under the guise of affordable luxury, that has raised over 24 million dollars in 10 rounds of venture capital funding does not offer their customers refunds on purchases.

    Quick overview bullets:

    1. Their website is confusing, lacking immediate transparency and details to make an informed decision. It’s made to make impulsive purchases easy. Remember, they don’t offer refunds.

    2. Your order will be repeatedly delayed.

    3. You will need to pay an additional $10 to add an atomizer to your fragrance. Which turns your “good deal” for the monthly membership into an $18-$25 membership for one, one single sample of a fragrance a month.

    4. You will need to upgrade in increments of $10-$12 if you want to add more fragrances to your monthly subscription. Defeating the claims of affordable fragrances access when you’re spending over $40-50 a month for the membership. Money which you can use to buy a full size bottle of your favorite fragrance at Bloomingdales on credit.

    5. Go on Reddit and Facebook marketplace to find fragrance groups that trade full size samples from practically free to completely free. You don’t need to spend money on an other greedy corporation funded by venture capitalists who’s needs will always come ahead of the consumer.

For $16.95 + tax monthly fee you can select any product that we carry in our assortment and try it in 0.27 oz for an entire month. We also offer some premium products that require from $5 to $15 to the regular subscription cost. That's not to mention how cute our signature packaging is and how we deliver it straight to your door - we say it's totally worth it! 💞
  • Deliberately deceptive w/ “offers” to bait you into subscription

    TL;DR review: Don’t fall for the gimmicks & bother installing this app—the “memberships” are more of an endless headache than any kind of service that’s actually beneficial.

    *Trust me* & please don’t waste your time & more importantly your money… UNLESS you’re trying to cancel a membership—the app actually provides the ability to directly cancel a subscription (unlike the website) without sending an email or support ticket.

    This app is about as useful as the website when it comes to managing your membership, i.e. it’s intentionally confusing to navigate/use & mostly designed to drive new subs. This app reflects the Scentbird core business model which is solely based on baiting customers into various monthly membership subscriptions using an endless litany of deals/offers/free items/etc that sound attractive but really aren’t the value they seem AND then—crucially—making it difficult to cancel. Lastly, like others also noted it took nearly two months to get first order via DHL shipping (allegedly “lost” in their system per the tracking updates).

    Even though we'd definitely hate to see you go, you can absolutely cancel anytime whenever you're ready to take a break. Once you send us a cancelation request at support@scentbird.com, we'll respond with a direct link to end your membership on the spot. You then proceed with the link and complete the cancelation survey. Rest assured that once you cancel your subscription, all automatic charges will stop!
  • Under the impression

    Highly doubt anything will become of this, but I was under the impression that the monthly fee will cover one sample. I don’t think that was the case, cause whenever I queued something it was like I had to pay extra for that sample. Let alone future months would of been paid in advance. My goal was to buy the actual thing if I liked it. Isn’t that suppose to be the way it’s? Plus, the app wouldn’t let me log out unless I bought something. Kept on saying my internet had a bad connection. Still let me navigate through the app without any problems. Thought the $9.00 promotion was good, but that was probably the hook, line, and sinker part of the deal. Wouldn’t surprise me if they sell my information. More than happy to pay the $15 a month for the one or two samples, but don’t see myself giving this another try. Just seems like one of those deals that your stuck paying a base pay subscription and then paying more for add on services that unfortunately the customer pays. Better off going to the store and sampling the product and buying on the spot. Sadly, I wasted $9.00 that I won’t get back. Luckily, the cancellation wasn’t so harmless. So I think.

  • Not worth it

    Pretty much every product costs extra on top of the subscription. They charged me over $20 per month for one product but said it would only costs $8 the first month. I had to pay $15 on top of that for my perfume. Deleting the app as soon as I get my product. disappointed.

    They overcharged me my second month and didn’t send the products for the subscription I purchased in advance for my mom. Not recommended also if you break down the price of a full bottle not that good of a deal.
  • Amazing app

    First, the customer service is fast, helpful, and awesome. I messed up making my account because I typed my email out wrong, and within two days I had my account back and plenty of communication from customer support. They were really nice and professional and responded really fast. Secondly, the scents are perfect. I’ve bought two colognes so far and they are great and exactly how they are advertised. The information they provide you on the cologne/perfume you want to buy is detailed and amazingly helpful in making decisions. A lot of it is customer-rating based so it’s very accurate. Lastly, the cases they send you are really nice looking, high quality, and easy to use.

  • App doesn’t work

    Gives me the option to sign into my google account but when i sign in it sends a verification code to my email and when i come back to the app its already timed out (leaving the app automatically closes the code prompt) so i try using my email to sign i. Instead and its says “error try again later”

  • SHIPPING TAKES FOREVER/IT’S A NIGHTMARE

    New customer and I’m incredibly disappointed already. The shipping takes FOREVER. Scentbird sends it through DHL which transfers to USPS. Already a red flag as these are terrible services, especially USPS. Well, both services have tracking numbers and both say it has been in the same city in Wa. for 5 days. Neither service will admit to having the package. Downloaded the app to e-mail support and it pops up a screen for Zendesk. Wants me to log in with my Scentbird login. I SIGNED UP WITH GOOGLE! I have no Scentbird login. If I can sign up with Google or Facebook why aren’t these options for support?! Stupid. I’ve set my subscription to every three months until it’s resolved but honestly am ready to just cancel. Oh, and I did find another option to send a message in a different place in the app finally but my question is: why are there different places to request support? Which one is a bot and which one is a real person, or are they both bots? Speaking of, the chat is an actual joke. The chatbot is worthless. It just pops you to the website if you ask about order/shipping details. When you login, instead of showing you what you asked for, it IMMEDIATELY pops you back to the chat in both windows and asks if the problem was handled.
