  • Something’s changed

    This is the only option available as a work benefit. Whatever update they made since last year has made it harder to navigate. The only real thing they want you to see is your credit score. It’s right there when you log in at the top in huge bold letters with a large grapes. Absolutely useless information in regard to my motitered information. I would rather see a big message saying NO ALERTS or a giant number in red when there is one. Also, upon renewal, all of my information was wiped clean and I had to reenter all my data. Will let my company know and hopefully we can get something else.

  • Can’t use anymore

    Ever since the redesign earlier this year, which the only sent one passing email about with scant instructions on how to sign up, I cannot access the app anymore because I used my personal email to sign up for IDShield. Now that it all links back to LegalShield, which is a benefit offered through my employer, I’m told I’m not a member upon logging in. Unfortunately, I have another year or so before open enrollment at work again, but if nothing changes, then you can rest assured I will cancel the service and stop wasting my money.

  • They change way too often

    I think they changed stuff 3 times since I used them. It go so annoying I dropped them. The changed the URL where you had to “resign up” to have your data moved over. Then just recently, I had to do all this stuff to get into my account again due to changes. The app isn’t smooth or easy to use at all.

  • Terrible app and no customer service

    I have been a member since 2019. They decided to make changes to their app and in the process erased me as being customer. I have called and emailed and keep acting like I don’t exist, despite the fact that they have been sending me monitoring emails every month for over 4 years. How can they protect your identity when they cant even identify their own customers.

  • Great tool

    Great tool to use to stay on top of credit score and unauthorized usage of key personal info and accounts. Sex offender alerts though could be a little better managed as it does seem the same alerts are highlighted for several days, weeks in a row even when they have been reviewed already. List display of offenders could rank by distance to school or house.

  • Best ID theft protection out there

    I have tried numerous identity, theft, protection, apps, and software over the years. Nothing has come close to being as user-friendly and robust as the ID shield app. But my favorite part is the fact that the licensed private investigators do the work to put your life back together when you do become a victim of identity theft. So many other products out there make you do all the work, or send you a do it yourself kit with a one 800 number that rings in the Philippines.

  • ID theft

    This app alerted me to someone trying to open credit accounts in my name the night before. I have since froze my credit. Thankfully I had this app

  • Identify Theft

    I love IDShield! One of the features it has is a sex offender monitoring within a 1 to 5 mile radius. I can also monitor my minor children’s date of birth and Social Security number to ensure their identity is not used to open up a credit card. Everyone needs to have IDShield!

  • Useless

    The app is useless. Shows my credit score, which I already have available through my bank and credit card.

    Whenever I try to see an alert that comes through my email, the app doesn’t show it. It won’t show any of my dark web notification. Really is a poorly designed and useless app.

  • App doesn’t work

    I keep getting various notifications from the app regarding alerts I set up, but when I go into the app, nothing updates. I am able to see all my alerts online, but then the app is useless. Even my updated credit score doesn’t show on the app.
