My vacuum cleaner does not need this app
I like the highly rated vacuum cleaner this app is made for, but I don’t need an app to tell me when to change my filter or empty the vacuum. The app serves no purpose. The vacuum is great, though the battery life won’t get me through my first floor and the charging station is chipped after repeated use.Show lessSuperShoeDiva
Privacy?!
What in the world is up with needing exact location for WiFi? This is totally shady that a WiFi can’t simply be added without the location.

App update is bad
App updated in the last few days, and now the device always shows as offline in the app even though the actual vacuum WIFI light is on, so I can no longer control it from my app or update the status of the filters after cleaning.Sleepepep

I appreciate you making a quality floor cleaning machine that really cleans! Used my new machine the other day with superior results. Blown Away!!!
I had the Bissell Crosswave Max and was not happy at all and I heard heard great things about the Tineco so returned the Bissell and purchased the Tineco S3 and I can not believe the difference! My floors are literally shining! They were so dull before! I don’t know how I ever lived without this machine! App requires “Precise location” to use
This app will not let you input your WiFi router name without being able to see your “Precise location”. Why does an app for a vacuum cleaner need a precise location? This is a major privacy concern and should be investigated as to why location is needed.RKArena
So far I love it
I have purchased two Dyson units over the past 5 years. While we liked their performance I didn’t appreciate the fact that both quit performing shortly after the two year warranty. Too much money for such a short life span. I spent hours researching cordless vacs. When Costco offered the tineco pure one s12 at a lower price I decided to take a chance. I’ve had the pure one s12 unit for over a week and Ilove it. This unit has so much more power than our Dyson units..(I must state that our Dyson units were not their current top of the line models). Our tineco unit is better built in our opinion with top notch materials. The pure one s12 has lots of attachments. I find the unit easy to operate while my wife finds it a bit too heavy at times although she finds the ability to operate the unit without having to constantly push the motor switch a big plus. A big plus would be some type of storage rack for all of the attachments. Time will tell on the product’s reliability but, as of now I am very happy with this purchase.Show lessconsumer 45
