Buggy at best
When one brings up the app on an IOS device, it does not first interrogate any hardware devices to ascertain the current ACTUAL status insofar as temperature is concerned. What I mean by this is, I can set the heat temperature at a low setting before leaving the house in the morning. Let’s say that the indoor temperature when I leave in the morning is actually 72 degrees and I set the heat before leaving to 66 degrees.
Later in the day, if while I am away I bring up the app knowing full well that the temp ought to be somewhere around 66 degrees, the app will show the last known temp of 72 degrees. It does not interrogate nor refresh based upon actual measurements.
Additionally, when I try to set the temp from 72 to 68 degrees for night time comfort using the app, frequently it seems to set itself to accept and display my 68 degree setting, but later I find that it might have ignored my 68 degree setting, and instead, after going to bed, set itself to 66 degrees instead of the 68 degrees that I wanted and that it seemed to accept.
Doesn’t connect
Frustrating because even the cold climate feature was stuck in the ON position because the app disconnected again. We had to shut the gas off entirely just to get the pilot flame off. Dangerous and disappointing.

Worst app
This is one of the worst apps I’ve used. Plagued with problems due to poor backend design.
Syncing account with an outside server is fine. The fact my appliance needs to talk to a server to function is horribly designed. This should be locally controlled. The module doesn’t seem to try and reconnect once a connection is loss.

Giant waste of $$$$
Way over priced
Even if it worked properly still hard to justify the cost
Constantly drops wifi (if you can even get it to connect)
It’s a whole process to reconnect it so I’ve now stopped trying to get it to work as it is a constant reminder of what a waste of money this is.
Trash app...
It just started getting cold enough this week to use the fireplace and both times the fireplace just disappeared from the app after turning it on... just imagine if I wasn't home or attempted to use the timed feature...
I feel this app is a financial and potentially safety liability and it should be required to have a huge overhaul or not exist at all.
