  • WHAT HAPPENED?!

I’ve had this app since December 2021. It worked great up until this week so I feel compelled to write this review after several frustrating hours of trying to re-connect to my Wi-Fi network. Not sure if some kind of firmware update happened which caused the issue I’m having. I did research for other customers having the same issue. They all said the same thing. They were also unable to reconnect to the Wi-Fi network. such a shame. it was good while it lasted. I was able to download a different application and was able to reconnect and the vacuum works fine now. Developers please look at your app and fix the issue.

  • Roborock rocks

I’ve had my Roborock Q7max+ for three weeks and love it. Previously had an old model Roomba and find the new Roborock far superior.
Great suction power works well on loop pile and open pile carpet, tiles and floor boards. Excellent at removing heaps of dog hair from our two big dogs.
The mopping is good and my floors have never been cleaner now that they get mopped four times a week. Though you can see the lines on the floor after mopping where the Roborock tracks up and down the floor.
We have a big 6 bedroom tri-level home and the mapping and scheduling is a huge timesaver. Auto empty bin is amazing and I still haven’t had to empty it after three weeks of daily vacuuming.
The app is helpful but not intuitive when it comes to mapping out a multi level house. I’m still trying to work out the best way of doing that.
All in all I’m extremely satisfied

  • Roborock S 6

We purchased this vac about 2 years ago. It does a very nice job of cleaning the whole house, or you can set it to clean specific rooms, It does a fair job of mopping, but could be improved if tweaked to allow more water to disperse on hard wood floors. Second item I need to point out it needs side brushes and this might allow for better cleaning in the area where one has overlapping bottoms in cabinet areas in their kitchen.

Summery in my opinion it is well worth the money spent, it beats a upright cleaner which takes longer to clean. We like the way it cleans in the dark and most of all it will clean when you set it to for the whole house and go out to take care of your business and come home to clean floors. We are in our Senior years and this is a God sent.

Important, don’t forget prepare free areas, no wires, or clutter. If it runs into something it can not get by, after two error messages, it go to sleep. Last, I should tell you when done it returns to the dock and recharges.

  • Great robotic product

The Roborock S7 is Sheraton robotic product, consisting of a vacuum and a mopping system combined into one device. The Roborock App allows for dividing an automatically generated map of a single or multilevel home into rooms for selective cleaning. This is a must if a home is large enough to require several battery charges to clean all areas. A section for scheduling allows selection of one or more rooms (or locations) to be cleaned in a group. A great feature is a live map which shows the route that the robot follows, making it easy to monitor the cleaning performance. Likewise, the ability to designate “invisible walls,” “no-go” areas, and the location of rugs and mats greatly customized the functions of the robot. The program allows for great control of the robot. Areas that could be improved: editing the map into different rooms can be somewhat challenging, but it is accomplished by your persistence. You might run into a limitation in the number of rooms permitted, but consolidation of two or more rooms into one area will work around this easily. Lastly, an area can be designated for spot-cleaning, instead of having to clean an entire room. All in all, the Roborock App is a worthy part of a very good robotic vaccuum and mopping product, and I highly recommend it.

  • T7 works better with xiaomi home

I have noticed that anytime they update firmware the robot goes crazy. on the last update the whole map went got corrupted and the robot even forgot where the charging station was. I had to reset the whole thing and move it to show me Home app.
  • Great but needs more features

Used with a S7 MaxV Ultra.
    1) swipe through maps to make starting a job on a different floor easier. Currently if I want to start a clean of a specific room on floor 1 I have to manage maps, edit floor 1, save to make floor 1 active.
    2) more maps
    3) clean without mapping for small areas that would need a separate map
    4) “oh! While you are at it…” ability to add tasks to current job without causing restart. Like queuing a playlist
    5) order spares from app. Ideally with auto-order facility. Who has a robot and wants to order the bits themselves?
Otherwise good app and great vac.

  • Almost Fabulous

I bought the Roborock S7MaxV as a gift to myself. It was a splurge! It was easy to set up. The floor mopping does an incredible job if I ask it to x2. I found it left streaks on the x1 setting. It is pretty quiet and does a great job avoiding tangles. It got stuck once, but knew just where to pick up once I helped it get unstuck. It is gentle with my furniture and my skittish cat is even ok with it. My only problem is the carpets. It picks up debris on the top, gets some cat hair and fluffs the carpet to give it a freshened look. After several weeks, there is very little in the bag. When I vacum by hand I get a lot of hair and stuff up and have to empty the bin at least two times. Maybe some bristles on the brush would help. Overall, it has been a big time saver.

  • So limited and cumbersome

First: why the app allows only four maps? There is so much computational power nowadays. Are the programmers lazy? My house has a weird structure and it facilitates saving different areas as different maps. Allowing just 4 maps makes it very difficult for me.

Second: why not allow to temporarily deactivate no-go zones? This is a no brainer… I set no-go zones where I have fragile items. Periodically I remove them to clean there as well, but the fact that I have to remove the no-go zone manually and then have to draw another one makes it much more difficult.

These two things could be easily fixed in the app if the programmers cared a little more about what their clients need. Very disappointing.

  • Amazing

This is an amazing vacuum and I’m excited to see the reviews on the s8 line. Now all you need is to figure out how get it down to a different floor on its own maybe to fly like a drone or have it have an attachment like tank wheels. Keep up the awesome work. An AI duster would be awesome too.
  • ♥️♥️♥️♥️
