Cannot cancel membership plans without a hefty £40 fee

I tried cancelling my membership plan after my cleaning appointments were either rescheduled or cancelled last minute through no fault of my own. I reached out to customer service to vent my frustration with the experience and requested to cancel my membership without incurring the £40 fee, which I thought was unjustified here. I’ve only received responses like “we’re checking your request and will confirm” it’s been 3 days and they still haven’t cancelled my plan. It’s like being held at ransom for something that wasn’t your fault and it’s totally unethical for a business.

No vetting process for cleaners

Need a strict vetting process for your cleaners. My first cleaner never showed and second one had no idea what they were doing. Will not be using this app again.

Hi there, Sometimes, this happens, but we always deliver. Every booking has a primary and backup so if the primary decides to back out there is a backup. With regards to vetting, we have the highest vetting process across Canada. So sorry for the inconvenience. Thank you for choosing Cleanster.com

Easy to use

Very helpful, don't believe in what people reviewed if you never try once :)

App is fine service is terrible

Cleaner barely cleaned. I had to micro manage the entire process and gave up after hours. She arrived late and left early. I had to ask her to redo almost everything and I had to ask for the most basic stuff. Can you wipe down the mirror? Can you clean the floor? Mop? Wipe down the front of the cabinets? Cleaner put cleaning wipes in the toilet. Cleaner repeatedly said she was done after doing very little. The corners in the bathroom were not cleaned. There was still food spills on the floor in the kitchen. The cleaner was not vaccinated and did not wear a mask. I will have to pay someone else to actually clean. Don’t wasn’t your time or money-

Horrible

Cleaner was scheduled for 9am on the day I was having guests for dinner. Cleaner finally showed up at 4pm and guests came at 5 so she left…I did not get reimbursed for the 4.25 hrs of cleaning I paid for. I had to dispute it with my bank and still I didn’t get my money back because Tidy lied to the bank!! They said I cancelled the cleaner!! So furious. It’s such a scam.

Stay Far Away

This app showed promise until 80 percent of the cleaners you find on here never show up. Then the company will still charge you multiple times for cleanings that you had to cancel because no one showed up.

Customer service doesn’t respond or help out. A matter of fact, the one time I finally could get a hold of them, they lectured me on trying to steal their cleaners from their terrible app instead of fixing the multiple issues going on (I wasn’t taking any cleaners from the app).

They ripped me off.

I paid $170 for a cleaning at 9 am. The app was down until 10 am that day and no one even verified that someone was coming. Then at about 10:30 am a cleaner messaged and said she’d be there in about an hour. I was busy working and just trusted she would get there and get the job done. At 2:30 I was informed that no one had showed up by someone at the house, not by Tidyapp. There was no communication from Tidy app at all. So I called them and they begged me to give them a chance to let someone come by 3 and if not they would refund me. When I got off work at 5:30, they told me that the cleaner couldn’t find the house and it was my fault and they wouldn’t refund a penny. Horrific experience and a scam

Nobody showed up to clean my house

I scheduled a cleaning today at 9:30 and nobody ever showed up. Save yourself time and money and do not use this company.
There is no customer service and there is no way to contact anyone.
