  • Don’t buy this garbage.

    I’ve tried multiple times to register using their iOS app I been waiting for hours to receive a confirmation email. The supposed support video on the Home Depot website does not exist. Home Depot should be ashamed for selling this junk.
  • Unusable

    The app won’t let you do anything without creating an account. I can’t create an account because it won’t send a verification email. I tried 3 separate times today and checked spam... nothing... I can’t even use the plug
  • Do not buy

    I tried setting up my account and it says I have to wait to verify my email. I’ve waited for two hours and nothing even checking the junk mail.

    I tried doing this with a separate email and I have the same problem. I can’t get passed verifying my email but I have yet to receive an email to verify.

    Will re-evaluate this review if I ever can verify my email and use this product.

  • Smart Plug

    This thing is junk! We went and bought the GE version and set it up while waiting for the verification email. An hour later and still waiting for it! I called the help number and they said it was made in China and they do not support it. I guess it goes back! Sorry Home Depot....
  • Can’t even get a verification email.

    Set up an account and been checking email and the spam folder for the verification email to use the plugs. Resent the email multiple times and no email; useless Chinese made products.
  • Absolute Garbage- do not buy this

    The app would not allow me to set up a new account. The screen would switch from “set up new account “ to the normal sign in screen. This happen on my iPhone and iPad.
    Do not buy this product.
    SP1- please fix your your app!

    SP1 contacted me on how to create an account. It is not intuitive compared to other online accounts that are set up, but it did work.

  • Easy , simple , quick.

    It is really easy to set up the plug, operate smoothly

  • Doesn’t work

    Same problem as everyone else. I click on the “+” and then “Smart Plug” then I see the spinning wheel for a few seconds, then it goes away and nothing happens.
  • Does not connect!

    I followed the steps outlined in the Quick Start Guide: I created an account in the app and tapped the little plus in the top right corner. My plug is in a working outlet and is blinking green. I tapped the “Smart Plug” icon in the Control panel and it just comes up with a loading wheel for a few seconds. Then nothing happens. This is an inexpensive smart plug and the price reflects the quality. Go buy a big name brand smart plug that has been well tested.

    Hi there! We apologize for this issue. This is an iOS13 bug, Apple is working to fix it. But you can try to shut down and restart your phone or update your iPhone to the most recent software update (if yours is not the most recent version already), you should be able to set up the device.
