  • Pile of crap, typical UDR

    This app blows. For some unknown reason my password doesn’t work and it won’t generate a new one. Should have stuck with active building.
  • Terrible App

    This app is terrible both in its functionality and in it’s UX. Even just logging into the app as a resident was a horrible experience. There is just so much that has not been thought out in the engineering of the app. Making a payment has been especially difficult as the app can’t even process a payment correctly, and on top of that they charge you an additional service fee that they didn’t charge you in the old resident portal. Just a terrible app all around.

  • Better than the last app, but...

    I’m getting less impressed with the admin side of this company. Where a card is used for rent payment it’s an $8 service fee, no amount min or max. $8! That and the property parking doesn’t come with the apartment in a location where everyone has at least one vehicle, and that money is not spent on security! I get COVID, but I haven’t seen a security vehicle in months. MONTHS!!
    All everyone gets is emails about this and that (don’t do this and that, this and that is happening), hard to get anyone on the phone but you might get someone to answer texts a day later when it really counts. A millennial’s dream job? Hard as hell to manage, contactless at its finest.

  • The Worst App Ever

    3 months in row I’ve been spending hours trying to open an account and then simply pay my rent. They had me running around to the post office because their app is down. 3 months later the app is down again nightmare experience, shame on UDR!!
  • Not able to log in

  • I can’t access to the portal

    Can soneone help me please? Everything was working fine but 4 days ago I was logged out from my account for no reason, so now I’ve been trying to access again and I can’t.. there’s no error message, idk how to explain it but the app does literally nothing when I push the bottom log in!

    I tried to log in the website and nothing, I updated the app and nothing 🤷🏻‍♀️, I change my password and nothing

  • They took away the one good thing...

    I am really disappointed the recent phone application switch over from “ActiveBuilding” to “UDR Resident” and lack of a community message board on the new application. The new application does not include a community forum page. The forum page was not perfect and it was heavily censored by UDR staff, but what got through was still super useful and valuable to residents. It was a unique service that set Savoye Apartments apart from other similar properties in a great way. It really embodied the spirit of the LEED building rating. I found the furniture posting and exchange super interesting and green conscious.

    Please provide a new forum platform in this UDR application as soon as possible.

  • should be optional not mandatory

    I don’t like that I have to give up the perfectly fine website that did everything this app does but better. This app is just the mobile version of the website but with less features. I also don’t like that I have to enter a pin every time I have to use the app.

    Edit: I’m adding 2 more stars because it turns out it IS optional, not mandatory. There is a new
    online portal that I can use instead of having to use this app. Still have to enter a pin though.

  • Works great 👍

    Everything seems to be really easy to navigate. I was able to login setup my rent through the app and book sessions at the gym very easily. The app is nice to have everything in one spot without the lengthy login process required on the website.
  • Would have been better to have stuck to the website

    The website was great for building community, letting people post notices, seeing who your neighbors are, and so on and so forth. This clunky app contains none of the community-building features the website had. What’s the point of creating an app of it doesn’t improve the functionality for the user? I would be persuaded to change my rating if this changes.
