TERRIBLE
Why did we have to download a new app? On top of it - WHY DOESN’T IT WORK? I haven’t had mobile access to my bank, my main way of tracking my accounts, for over 4 days. Only to download this new app and tell me the credentials are wrong when they are not. EXTREMELY aggravated. I’ve been wanting to switch banks and this may have been the final straw for me.Show lessrstrelec125
Y’all Need to Read
Provident Bank alerted all of the app users that this would be happening while a ago in a email. In that email they told you how to use the new app so stop complaining and read the app works fine.SupperMario0124
finally, a real banking app
As long as you follow the directions the email said, logging in was a breeze and there’s so many cool new features that actually make the app useful... my favorite is now being able to lock your card when it’s lost. good job provjcguerra2k
Terrible
This bank is the worst, they locked my account for multiple log in attempts which was an error on their part, then they give me a number to a customer support and the number DOESNT exist, I am giddy right now because I am going to the bank today to close my account with them and I suggest you all do the sameShow lessendmylifepls
Check your mail
I received multiple emails and letters in the mail (starting a month before it was set to occur) about online banking being shut down while they upgraded everything and each one had instructions on what to do and how to log in once the system came back online. Great communication to warn us ahead of time.Show lessbbymama11

Love provident bank! Although it was a small pain to be locked out of online banking over the weekend it was not the end of the world. I still had access to my accounts by simply calling the main number. They did a great job making us be prepared for this ! Anyone who complained probably never read their emails or letters that got sent out.Show lessMommaVan4

I’ve used the old app for a decent amount of time and I really see a difference now. The old one was definitely limited but simple. This new one is still very easy to use and has a little bit more features which is even better. I see a few bad reviews in regards to login in, you guys need to carefully read the email they sent us in regards to your new password!Show lessNick gurs 1995

I understand you need to shut down for a little while to perform system updates...but four whole days? AND the app doesn’t even work. I ended up over drafting (because I couldnt access my account for DAYS) and I can’t get into my account to make a transfer. I’m VERY annoyed.lauren legit
The best thing the bank could have done
I love the fact that the bank wants to upgrade the app. I am a very technology driven guy and the fact that the bank is taking these steps to start getting to the level of the big banks is really important. Although the system was down for a few days great job!
