The same problems still exist
New user here. Just had 9 thermostats installed with a new system. I was excited to get the app going and then after my second thermostat registration ALL of the problems that other reviewers have posted about previously last year started happening to me. It would be better if I could just hit the actual web page this app loads in a browser like I can with the telemark gateway page.Show lessLemonpeeltang
Solid basic functionality but needs to up its game
The app was easy to set-up and seems to sync instantly with the controller. However, sensor data like slab temperature and air temperature should be displayed in the app. Really, as much of the controller’s screens as possible should exposed via the app as well.Home Automation Melech
Functionality = Round to Zero
It’s hard to imagine releasing an app with close to zero functionality.
For driveway Tekmar snow-melt, the most basic need is to switch from “Away” to “Melt” so it will be clear when we return home. But oh no...
This is simply an on-off switch - but only if you’re already in melt mode. Seems Watts has no interest in this product line. Good to know should we ever have to replace it.Show lessPC View
Works reliably but should have more.
So far the app functions well with my newly installed floor. I would like to have Apple Home, Alexa, and SmartThings integration capabilities with this system. This is a smart home device, open up connectivity please.T_R_J
Tekmar 561 app can’t even display outdoor sensor
The functionality required of this app is quite minimal and it should at least be able to display the reading of ANY sensor connected to the thermostat, yet it only displays the indoor temp. I have to look into a goofy settings menu to see the reading of the slab sensor, but NOWHERE does it show my outdoor sensor in the app. I’ve generally regarded tekmar as a “premium” brand, but it’s losing points right now for having such poor capability in it’s internet connectivity and remote control/monitoring features. It’s 2020 and this feels like functionality I’d expect out of something made in 2010. Honestly I’m surprised that this doesn’t have some advanced capability to model the response of the room to heat calls and compensate for solar gain based on access to weather data and make smart predictive adjustments to heat calls so the temperature doesn’t undershoot or overshoot the setpoint when you have a large thermal mass like my 6” thick concrete slab. Outdoor reset on my boiler does pretty good at this, but there really is a missed opportunity to make this thermostat “next-level” when it has access to so much data as comes with an internet connection.Show lessDragonsmoke6

This needs to be updated again. I keep getting error messages, then an error as I try to sign in. Completely ridiculous. I deleted the app, reinstalled & still can’t sign in to check my system. Now what?Megan31917
NOT GOOD!
This app is nothing more than a glorified on-off switch. It does not show any settings or allow any control of the main unit. It does not notify through push when the boiler is on or off. No home or away setting...no nothing! Does not seem that difficult to be able to mirror the controller in the garage. Only wish I could give it 0 stars.Show lessHeated Driveway

I installed the app, create an account, found my bathroom floor, adjusted the schedule, and everything worked perfectly out of the box.Haltmadness

App working until a few days ago. I have a Tekmar 671 Snowmelt controller. I can login but message says device is off line when I know it is on line as I see it on my network as active and the 671 shows it is connected on the device itself. Aside from that the app is a piece of crap as when it did work it only shows whether the system is melting snow or not. No other functionality!!!!!
