I was an early adopter of the app and have seen it go through a ton of changes and make a bunch of improvements. Lately they have been making a lot of changes for things Iv been wanting forever, like the ability to invest more than a dollar per transaction. I do wish I could connect even more bank accounts to it but at 2 accounts it already gets the majority of my transactions. They also recently made it easier to see how well your investments are doing and overall I’m up 25% which is pretty sick.

The first time I gave them the benefit of the doubt and it took over a week to correct now it is doing the exact same thing they would not allow me to have access to the funds that are available. And on top of that I am getting no communication from support when I sent him screenshots and video of what is going. I’ll advise anyone that plans on using this app. To be prepared for these types of incidence because they have been a reoccurring event, the last three or four years that I’ve use that.

We've made some upgrades to the speed of the app. Check it out and let us know if there are still any issues :) It can also take up to 24 hours for the app to recognize a purchase you've made. It really depends on how quickly your bank shares that info with us - some are nearly immediate and some can take a day. The title says it all. I've been using Grifin since 2021 but I'm over it now. Before the app stopped working I had limited the amount i'm willing to put in every month to something veryyyy minimal because i became unemployed recently. However the company switched to Alpaca? recently and started withdrawing money I can't afford to invest. I can't ever open the app to see why they're taking all this money out. This feels like a scam now. It's completely unacceptable that a service that takes ppls money and involves constant selling and buying would have their app be COMPLETELY inaccessible for a month now. If anyone else is experiencing issues like this please write reviews so we can consider bringing a class action lawsuit or something. I'm fed up.

Thank you - Steven, Product LeadI used to love this app, now I can’t even open it because it’s constantly looking to update. It used to pull a reasonable amount from my account. It started pulling too much and too often, since then I selected to cap at $50/month but it’s still pulling excessively and overdrafts my account. I’m probably going to close this account, if the app ever starts working again, I don’t feel I can trust it anymore.

Before it was such a crap shoot not knowing what day or even week the stock price would be traded. There wasn’t any consistency or rhyme/reason to it. I also really love the most recent update (under the total acct value) that shows the total $ and % difference in investment and value. Less mental math:)
I’ve had this app a few years, and the micro investing is a great way to get myself into the stock market & keep up with current events.
If I had one wish … there would be access to each stock’s performance chart. I realize what an undertaking that kind of addition might be. Now I go back and forth between Grifin and other apps for this to make my trade decisions and always think how great it would be to have it all in one place.

Sometimes I forget about it and check it and it’s fun to see how much money is in there! The app was super buggy a year or two ago but it’s much better now I don’t really have any issues
The only downside I would say, is you can only add two “banks” or “cards”. It would be nice to be able to add more. But I just have it on my main ones and it works well!

Eventually you will have a chance to invest your money in the business or companies that you usually spend money at. I’m a sense your also paying yourself to buy at your favorite store.
