“Great Concept, But Needs Improvement for a Smoother User Experience”
On October 23rd, I chatted with at least two agents, but no one mentioned that the account needed to be closed in order to receive the funds, which led to additional delays. The chat feature was frustrating as well, as it timed out frequently, cutting off responses and redirecting me to a new agent each time. I do appreciate, however, that the previous chat history was made available for the next agent, allowing them to review the conversation seamlessly.
Overall, the app has a great foundation, but improvements are needed, especially in the app’s functionality, chat experience, and the clarity of instructions on how each product is intended to work. The agents I spoke with were pleasant and provided good customer service, so I may consider giving the app another try once these updates are made.

downloaded this app over a year ago. You guys charged my card $80. I wouldn't mind staying with the membership but when I try to change my phone number it says it already exists. Idk if I used my current number to try to start an account. I don't know why it has another chime credit card number. It won't let me adjust it or anything. I can't find but a couple of emails from bright and they are promotional emails. Is this some type of identity theft? At this point I want a refund and I don't want to be a part of this platform if my identification is at risk.

Won’t give a refund but playing mind games
With an app that I had never even downloaded until after the charge appeared! Don’t do it, the customer service is horrible and they will charge you and not even apologize if you don’t want the service they provide! I’mSo done with right money! I just want my money back!!

Terrible app, worse customer service
I was denied for the credit line, fine, I need to build my credit. So on to the credit builder. It says the plan is active, but it’s been more than 2months and I still don’t even know if it’s supposed to draft these payments or if I’m supposed to submit them because I can’t find the button and I emailed their support team on 8/3 to clarify and still no response as of 9/22. So my credit isn’t building.
On to credit card payments. First, it takes two payments from my checking, but seems to have only submitted one on my statement with the bank. Weird. Second, I click “pay with Bright” on another account a day before the bill is due because they offer late fee protection. More than a week goes by before the money is drafted from my account on 8/28. As of 9/22, that payment hasn’t posted to the card. Where is my money? I emailed to ask how the late fee guarantee works on 8/28, when the money finally left my checking account, but still no reply.
This app is quick to make promises and take their fees from your account, but slow to deliver on those promises or get back to you. Do not recommend right now.
