  • Connection to air purifier

Very difficult to maintain a connection to air purifier when switched off and back on.
Recently I’ve not been able to connect at all.

Even after deleting the app, reinstalling and trying to reconnect.
I connect through a Google Nest Hub so maybe that’s an issue but it should work.

@bdiekdbd — sorry to hear that! We did have some latency issues on our backend earlier this week that contributed to reports of Milas going offline like what you're seeing; everything should be back up and running now. There shouldn't be any issues with a Google Nest Hub; if you continue to experience offline behavior, please send us a note at support@milacares.com
  • Love the air purifier, dislike the app

First off, I absolutely love this air purifier WHEN the app actually works. It is constantly losing connection. I have to shut the machine down, delete the app, reload the app, re-sign in, start the purifier back up, and go through calibration mode before I can get it reconnect. And I have to do this MULTIPLE times a day. If they can get the quirks out in the app, this is a five star product. The whole reason I bought the machine was to be able to control it through the app :(

  • Happy Air Breather!

Thrilled with Mila! The App was a cinch to set up...after I realized that I entered my WiFi password incorrectly. Love that I can set up my sleep time for the unit in the bedroom, and leave the unit near the cat litter boxes ‘scrubbing’ full steam — all of the time! Mila
also tells me when I should close the windows and doors if the outside air quality is bad...how cool is that! Highly recommend!

  • Literally a lifesaver

If I could award ten stars I would. I first encountered Mila as a crowdfunding project. With many such projects, after you have them for a week you wonder why you spent your money. With others, like Mila, after you have them a week you wish you had bought three. Shortly after Mila arrived the wildfires started in Oregon. Although we were not in any immediate danger, the smoke came pouring into our valley. For several days the AQI was over 500; literally off the charts. Our family would settle down in one room, and Mila would quietly keep the indoor AQI under 10. If anybody opened the door to leave the room the AQI would quickly shoot up to 70 or more. Mila would sigh, automatically turn up her fans, get to work and quickly bring things back under control. I don’t know how we would have survived without her. Now I want to get a Mila for every room in the house.

@a nice journal app — thanks so much for sharing and looks like you got the indoor air quality strategy/positioning of your Milas down in case of smoke. 👍 That's exactly what we would recommend as well, and so glad that Mila was able to keep you and your family safe during these off-the-chart AQI days. Welcome to the Mila fam. ❤️
  • I really like these machines!

Unlike other room air filters, you get so much information as to what’s going on in that room it’s amazing! No other machine that I’ve ever purchased ever gave me a report like these do. I bought four of these for a 7400 square-foot house and I feel like they’re doing a great job. I’ve seen other reviews about noise and personally I don’t mind so much because that tells me it’s working! You can set in the app what time you want them to go on and go off so that you don’t get bothered by them at night. The number of settings for these are amazing so I am truly happy with them.

@theshro — thanks for sharing and glad to hear your Milas are keeping you informed — and safe. We have more exciting updates planned for the app so stay tuned ... 😉 Welcome to the Mila fam. ❤️
  • Pairing issue and WiFi connectivity issue resolved

Fix: hold down all three buttons on the device display simultaneously for three seconds to switch display from diagnostic to customer mode.

Fixed: Unit will no longer go into pairing mode and won’t accept a new WiFi network. Plugging in the power cord causes a readout on the screen but no hello and no response after holding down the pairing button.

  • Units are on, but app shows them as offline

We were super excited to finally get our Milas this week. We set them up, connected the app, and... the app shows them both as offline, no matter what we do.
This means that, while the Milas are functioning, we have no way to control them or change the modes or do anything but turn them on or off with the manual switch on the bottom of the unit.
We’re very glad to have the air filters, don’t get me wrong, but the app is essentially useless until this bug is fixed.

  • Amazing hightech

I just received one unit of Mila. I ordered a multiple units and not sure what happened to the other units but I got one.
So I downloaded this app and first impression is how easy it was to pair the unit with the app. And the app allows to monitor the air quality of the location where the air purifier is at. Sweet feature. It tells you all about PM level monitorings and others.
App was very thoughtfully designed to explain all these terms.
Love it. I think I will feel safer with Mila during COVID-19. Great job, team!
I cannot wait to show off to my friends and families.
