  • So far so good!

I have just downloaded Session and used it for 1h, but I already fell in love with all the details put into the design of this app. The calendar sync, the timer (which continues to go unless I stop it - genius!), the beautiful interface (I love the aesthetics), the ease to create an account, log in, and sync across devices... - they all seem to me too good to be true (I cannot believe that it's all free to use). I plan to use it on a daily basis to quantify my time. I know this is probably an early review (given that I literally downloaded it 1h ago), so hopefully I will still like Session this much in a few months time!

  • Elegant and functional design

After trying a number of Pomodoro apps, I have settled on Session to use on a daily basis. The design is simple, and yet it has a number of features and controls that are easy to find and use. It synchs beautifully when used on several devices. Whether your are just beginning to use the Pomodoro Technique or are an old hand, this app is sure to satisfy.

  • Excellent in every way

I've tried all sorts of pomodoro and time tracking software. All of them have inevitably found their way into the trash.

Sessions is different. Its lightweight enough to get out the way, but feature filled enough to be useful. It makes you want to use it by being intuitive and unobstructive.

I'm now tracking time in a granularity I never expected, with an app I like, and features that are useful to me. Highly recommended.

  • The best Pomodoro app. Period.

I've been using Pomodoro technique for many years. I tried dozens of different apps, on multiple platforms. None compares to how well this app works.

The author is a Pomodoro expert, with absolute attention to details: every option, every feature in the app is here for a reason. This app is created with love by someone who cares about the technique, and who uses it every day themselves.

Some of the best features are: very well working website and app blocker, reflection at the end of the session, calendar integration, stats. Also, the overall flow is very well designed — it doesn't stand in a way, it's very natural.

I can't recommend this app enough. I'd put 10 stars if I could! If you're into Pomodoro, your search stops here.

  • Session review

I am a student who is currently revising for my GCSEs. By using this app it has really helped me stay focused and concentrate knowing I have a break ahead of me. I love the fact I can see my statistics so I can show my parents how long I have revised for and how long I have had a break. I also love the fact you can set an intention, have a mindful moment and record different categories such as homework, revision or whatever you choose.
This app has really helped me and I love the layout of it.

  • Worth it

I adore this app. So much so that I’ve sent it out to a few coworkers and family members. As a single mom who works in mental health, my life can get a bit chaotic. It’s not unheard of for something to slip through the cracks and/or frustrations to build to the point of *imposter syndrome*.

This application excels in so many ways. It’s not only a timer but a useful tool for time management. Specifically, the app can sync with your calendar (if you so choose) and show your stats alongside your agenda. Additionally, you can select daily, weekly, monthly, etc., views of how your time was managed. The app breaks this down by percentage, visual graphs, basically all the common ways to digest information.

There’s a one time fee of $40, a weekly fee of like $5, or an option to use it for free. Personally I paid the lifetime fee because this app has done wonders for me. And $40? Are you kidding? That’s a steal.

I do have a few qualms, all of which are preference based and accommodations are easy. But….I would really love it if they had an app for my watch. I don’t need to see the stats if that’s one of the hold ups, but please let me use it on the go.

I have a cellular watch and enjoy living my life phone-free. The desktop app is phenomenal but not available on my work computer. D: Help a girl out!

    10/10

  • Excellent app for recording time and focus

I started a new job working from home and I need a tool that would help me to accurately record my time and activities for my employer. I love the deep breath before every session and the breaks really help with managing my body in a healthy way. It also makes filling in timesheets easier and justifying my activities.

  • UPDATE: Even more praise than my previous review

I already loved this app, but figured out a new feature that is AMAZING:

You can sync sessions with google calendar! It's so great being able to see at a glance how much time I actually spend doing tasks, and what those tasks are. It's like time blocking, only you don't have to conform to a rigid schedule.

Is it really just one guy behind this app?? Whoever you are, keep rocking it. Much appreciated.

  • I downloaded today please help yourself and get this app

I never write reviews for anything but this might help someone like me. I am studying for an upcoming critical exam. The past few weeks without this app have been so difficult. Due to stress, I have easily distracted by other apps and things around me. One thing that immediately made me love this app is that I would pause my timer and do something else, and it sends me reminders that I have been distracted for more than 10 minutes. I love that and needed that. Overall, I give this app a 10/10; today, I have done more studying than in the last three weeks. Whether you're working/ studying or both. Get this app now!!! It is an excellent investment for those who tend to get easily distracted. P.s. you can use it with your iPad/ mac/ phone, and it syncs the logistics. Worth it. I got the monthly subscription and now have the app on my phone/computer and iPad.

  • Perfect for ADHD

I can't seem to stay focused on one thing, my mind is always wondering off as soon as i see something glitter off the corner of my eye. The timer keeps me focused and keeps reminding me to get back to what I need to focux on. It also helps me avoid burnout since I can take breaks in between.

The interface design is very clean and well organized, as well as very user friendly. A few more updates and features and I might just use this instead of my calendar (ok maybe not) but my point is that it's very simple and easy to use with enough features to help me stay focused.
