So frustrating, please improve
Our family is required to use this app to check assignments and grades for our kids. I’m constantly getting logged out and then prompted to enter the correct login info…which has always been the same. Every time.
The new version is practically the same as the last one, just with slightly more attractive buttons (at least from the user interface perspective). After working all day, homework with the kiddos at night, chores, dinner, etc. the last thing I want to be doing is losing a battle with the very app required to get the dang things done.
I’d love to like or even tolerate this app, but instead, I’m typing this review out of both historical, and real time, frustration due to being currently locked out (again). Please improve renweb before my breakdown becomes imminent 😭😅Show lessTach Savvy Mama
Zero stars. Complete garbage. Not worth $5
I don’t know how this company cons schools into launching this app. It’s a complete piece of crap and has been for the 2 years we’ve had to use it at our school. Even our administration is now apologizing for how bad it is and advising families to use the web version. While they appears to have been coded in the 90s, at least it generally works. DO NOT BUY THIS APP
I’ve only been in school for a month, but in that month, this app has proven to be incredibly disappointing. You should not have to pay for this trash. It’s incredibly slow and once a week it just won’t work. When I open the app it just closes out. The setup is horrendous and it just looks bad and unprofessional in general. Can’t see full homework list!
Be careful!!! The homework section will no longer allow you to see ALL of the homework listed under a given class. It will only allow you to see the first few lines, and you cannot scroll or click anything to open up the rest of the assignment!! Pointless! The sane thing with lesson plans!! This is a key feature we needed. It worked fine in the old app. It’s completely worthless now in the new version.Show lessJ57270
The worst
I absolutely loved the RenWeb app. It always worked and had all the info I needed. Being forced to switch to this catastrophe has been miserable. I’m asked to log in every 1-3 mins, if I make it that long without giving up. None of the buttons work properly. The ones that allow you to actually “click” on them take you out of the app and to the web version and I’m asked to log in again. When I do, it still doesn’t work. Very poorly designed and planned. Worst App!
I got the app to keep track of my kids grades. UX engineers need to take another look at design as this is not user friendly! I have two children in two different grades. When trying to view the grades I can see one child’s but when clicking on the second it lists their name and the grades of the first. I’ve sent two “report an issue” tickets about this and so far no changes have been made. Also, after submitting the tickets, the app freezes where I have to get out and get back in. I feel like I’ve been scammed into paying $4.99 for an app that doesn’t work.Show lessneedsleepnow123
New “Renweb” is less reliable
Ever since I was forced to switch over from the Renweb app to the new Facts app, I have had issues every time I login. It constantly makes me login again. I’m unable to load grades for one of my children. Switching between children often forces me to login all over again. I wasn’t thrilled about the old Renweb app, but it was way better than this new one has been for me. If It’s not improved, it’s definitely not worth paying for.Show lessLibGodss

Nearly Worthless
I was frustrated when I wanted to print off my kids’ schedules before sending them off to school and this app wouldn’t allow it. Couldn’t screenshoot it either bc it doesn’t fit onto the screen. I wanted to make sure my kid’s absence was excused, but since she’s not my oldest child, I can’t see her attendance record. There’s a drop down menu bar that is unresponsive. I really dislike having to tap multiple items to see the grades for specific assignments. Grades are what I check most often, but that option is midway down the page because it’s in abc order. Just like Website
I bought the app to have something different than the website. The old app was much easier to use and quick to pay, order lunch, etc. The lunch takes you to the website and it does not fit on your phone screen, and when you swipe back and forth while ordering, it takes you back to your previous screen, causing you to lose all of your lunch orders.
