  • Classic example of “pwede na” mentality.

    This app is an exercise in frustration. Navigation is not logical. PAL relies on its catchy product names which cause confusion as to what are until you’re familiar with them.

    Worse, the app is not really ready for public consumption. It constantly asks for cookie approval virtually every screen. App display brightness seems to be independent of device screen brightness settings, but of course you can’t change the app’s brightness. Some screens are suddenly bright, then others go back to device display settings.

    Logging in doesn’t seem to do anything. You still have to input flight bookings. I received a notice of flight change nearly 12 hours after receiving the email announcing the change. That led to time wasted trying to figure out what the change was, before realizing that the app’s notification was just extremely late.

    I removed the app, it was so useless.

  • Barely works

    App barely works. I try to log in, it says taking longer than the usual. I try to check in, it says taking longer than the usual. Never had so much issues with an airline app before. It’s taking so much of my time. Time that can be spent on other things. Don’t have issues like this with other airline apps

  • Do NOT this app’s Mobile Boarding Pass!

    The mobile boarding pass is not reliable specially when you have a connection. Better ger a paper version!

    First time I tried using this app’s mobile boarding pass for my trip 8/1/24 trip itinerary DVO-PPS with connection in Mnl, thus Dvo to Mnl to Pps and thus two boarding passes, one for Dvo-Mnl and another boarding pass Mnl-PPS: the mobile boarding pass was only available in the app for my Dvo-Mnl leg of the itinerary, its no longer available in the app during the Mnl-Pps leg. The booking itinerary is already marked as “Past trip” and thus you can no longer access the boarding pass.

  • App not working at all

    I used to be able to use the app to book flights but now it won’t even open. Whenever I click the app it crashes and won’t open. The old version opens however won’t accept my credentials. I contacted support but all they can say is try a little bit later. I have been trying for more than a week now. So frustrated

    All the reviews read about the same and all you get as a response is a canned message computer generated. What I glean is they don’t care about fixing or have no one competent to fix the bugs. I’m afraid to rely on PAL to book a load. Guess it’s time to take my business to another airline and travel with peace of mind. PAL boasts how much they have improved but couldn’t prove it by me

  • Worst App Ever

    I hate this app. I downloaded on both my phone and iPad in advance of an upcoming trip. I spent an hour trying to register as a user only to have the app fail for an unspecified reason each time. The app is not intuitive or easy to use. In my case, I couldn’t even register as a user.

    I will fly this flight and not bother with mileage because I can’t believe an airline with an app this useless is going to be any fun to fly. Wish me luck. I’m going to need it.

  • Unable to book trip

    I have the most recent version of this app on my iPhone 13 Pro (also has the latest iOS). However searching for flights to book always returns with error message like “something went wrong….”. Once error message window is closed, then some sort of Recovery window show up. I have tried to book trips many times during the past week, the app just didn’t work.

    This is a classic example of losing business because attention to details is lacking

  • Unable to log in

    Useless app. Tried multiple times to login on the app so that I can easily check in for my flight and get information. But it keeps saying “ unable to process at this time. Please try again later “

  • Terrible app and terrible website for a terrible airline

    I’ve flown a few times for travel and booked on the website and app. They want you to add any suffix to your name in the same block as your first and middle name instead of having a separate drop down menu. I have flown twice with them with no issues other than extreme difficulty getting the app or the website to work. Today I checked in and was told the no suffix was an issue (kind of funny since it wasn’t an issue on the flight yesterday). I had to leave the terminal and go to ticketing and pay 1000 pesos to have the suffix added to my name on my ticket. They are too cheap to update their app or their website and have no problem charging the costumer to add to letters to the end of his name at check in.

  • Horrible!

    How can an app be so terribly designed? From creating an account to figuring out the parameters for a valid password, this whole app is a mess. Not to mention the fact that loading a future trip doesn’t even work sometimes. I do not recommend using this app ever as it might just be the worst app of all time. If you are flying on Philippine Airlines, GOOD LUCK!! 😂😂
