  • Best app for tracking my health!

The new RENPHO Health app has been the only thing to help me keep track of my health and fitness goals! I love being able to see my progress across the multiple body composition metrics when paired with the Smart Scale. Plus, I can share my progress with family and friends on social media right from the app! I highly recommend to anyone who is looking to improve or maintain their health and fitness.

  • New Health APP is not great :(

I literally own many of your products and with the help of your scale and the old app. This app is terrible. I don’t see it as an upgrade it’s complicated compared to your old app. And I dont like the new logo it is confusing. I am not sure why you would try to fix or change something that is as exceptional as your old app. I have literally been using it for the last 2 1/2 years, exercising, eating well, using my scale, the old app, the food scale, tape measure, and because of all the detail I have began to understand the importance of my health and what those numbers mean and so far I’ve lost 88 pounds! I still have 20 pounds to go! Please don’t discontinue your old app! I love it! thank you for taking the time to read my review I rarely write them but I felt this one was important to do. 😊

  • It’s all wrong

I’m eating healthy, exercising regularly, continuously losing weight (down 16 lbs over past 3 months) and the app shows my fat and BMI increasing! Several weeks ago everything was trending in the right directions (BMI & fat down, skeletal muscle up, etc.) but over the past two weeks everything has been moving the wrong direction. Makes no sense at all. I’ve lost weight, closing in on my goal weight and today was shown to be in the obesity range for fat. My metabolic age has gone up two years as well. What a joke!

  • Renpho Health App.

I personally love this app and this company. They are constantly working to update the inner workings of the data. I think a lot of the negative ratings are based on the frustration of when they updated to the newer app. Were there a few bugs. Yes, but they continue to make improvements and personally, I think they have made major improvements. At this point all of my old data from the old app is on the new app. When it wasn’t I was running both apps at the same time. Now that isn’t necessary. As far as people who are upset re: the date you are expected to reach your goal i’m a little confused. It’s an estimate based on your current data. It adjusts as it changes. I am using a top 5 app for weight loss. They are doing the exact same thing. I love it, it gives me motivation. There is so much information that comes with this app. and I love all of it.

  • The old app was better

First of all, thanks for not disabling the old app, because I still rely on it. Ideally, when I weigh myself, the scale should push data to the phone showing my new weight. Instead, I have to open the app and then it will pull the data from the scale. The new app is even worse, because I have to open the app first, then step on the scale, and the app will pull the data. But it only works if I already have my phone with me and the app open when I get on the scale. It will not pull the data afterward. It seems like you rushed out an app that did not work. I feel like I am an alpha tester.

  • Recently moved to new app

I bought the measuring tape recently so I updated to the new app. I have had and loved my Renpho scale for several years using the old app.

I was concerned based on some other reviews but when I downloaded the new app it brought over all of my history, the trends view is still there and now I can use both my scale and the new measuring tape to better track my progress.

  • Won’t sync with the fitbit app

I have had the scale for a couple years and it is great. The old app was great, too. It never had issues connecting with the scale via bluetooth or 3rd party apps. The new app is fine except it has connectivity issues and absolutely will NOT sync with FitBit. I have tried everything. Uninstalling, reinstalling, approving in a browser tab, approving via the website, everything. Nothing works. Customer service will suggest all those things after telling them you already have, multiple times.

  • Not sure what everyone’s complaining about

The app is fine, sure it’s annoying having to migrate but if you just log in with your account it just syncs all your data anyway.
Side note, the tape measure is such a time saver.
  • Hate It!

I've been using the original app along with my Apple Watch for years with no problem. This one not only hardly ever takes the readings from my watch, but even when I try to go back to the scale to get a direct Bluetooth reading to the app, it doesn't record or skips days or whatever else it 'decides' to do. I still have the original app installed as well...and it's still a 5-STAR app (why change it?). The only way to get this new app to update the 'correct' data from the old app is to completely log out and log back in again. I give up. When you fix it, maybe I'll use it. Until then, it's not worth the headache.

  • Please go back to the old app or at least keep the features

I just downloaded the new app and I’m not happy at all. I miss the features that were available in the old app. For example, weight comparison over time. I started tracking my weight consistently back in 2019. With the old app, whatever my current is today is compared to the weight I was in 2019. It’s good to see that progress. If I want to see that chart, I have to scroll aaaaalllllll the way back to see the comparison chart. Comparing weight from today vs yesterday is not very motivating.

Also, why does setting a goal weight have to defined by number of days? In the old app, you set you goal weight and that’s it. For me personally, if I don’t get to my goal weight by that particular date that pulled out of a hat, then I failed. So many things can affect weight loss. Weight loss is not linear, it goes up and down. Again, not very motivating.

You’re star rating is a 2, that should mean something. Let’s fix this!
