  • Works great

Just bought a Bluetti system several weeks ago. The only problem I had with the app is Bluetti would not allow an equal sign (=) in my SSID for wifi; they were quick to add it as an allowable character. In the meantime Bluetooth worked just fine.

The app is great to help manage input/output power. I can see when my pv panels start producing power in the morning and how late in the evening before they fall to zero. With the help of the app I’ve got my grid power usage down to around $0.88 per day.

  • Needs attention

Many people using an iPad run it in landscape mode, but this app only displays in portrait mode. That makes the app mostly unusable in most situations (like, having it open while the iPad is sitting on your desk in laptop mode). It's not like the minimal amount of screen data couldn't fit in landscape format.

    Please fix this.

  • Suggested improvements

Can you please change a few things
    - allow for the app to have a configurable heart beat check and let the user if any configured units via wifi /internet that are in the app unit list are reachable.
That way we can go check if there is a problem with the unit.

    - allow for users to see error logs siting the app by exposing the logs in the Bluetti app/ API

    - allow if possible to set lower AC charge rates.
Currently if you want a quiet charge it’s preset, I would like to charge even slower than this on really cloudy days to make use of grid tied solar at slower rate. If you have grid tied solar and the production fluctuates its means you start taking some energy from the grid, it would be better if you could set lower power draw over a longer period of time. I use the T500 but if I could set tiers of slow charge it would be better.

  • Could be better

I had no real functional issues with the app. However, the UI could use some improvements. Why not have all of the toggles on the main page? And who thought it would be a good idea to use a scroll wheel for the flashlight settings?
  • App works great for me

Lots of bad ratings, tough crowd here at the App Store! I just received my EB3A and it works great. Installed the app, and BT connection was fast and easy. Nice looking status page and options are easy to change and understand. Maybe I’m just a simple dinosaur…but I say nice job Bluetti!
  • Every update a step backwards

Leave the app alone- every release screws something up or slows it down. Bring back v1 with its simple and fast usability.
  • This app is getting better with its update :)

Since first downloading this app and present day, I can say the improvements are noticeable and warrant some praise, there are a few things that can be upgraded, I myself would love to see a timer for both AC & DC instead of the current timer system. But overall happy with how this app is progressing!

  • Please continue active development.

I have dinged the score to 4 stars because I am TIRED of this app logging me out. I do not want to keep logging in to this app. This is not mobile banking, it doesn't need this level of security. I just want to see what percentage the thing is at without having to get up. But if I have to remember, or more likely, reset my password, I might as well just get up off my rump and go look at the unit. Save my password. Forever. I do not want to deal with this again for this app.

  • Nice looking app, but lots of issues

The app offers lots of features for monitoring your Bluettis, but there are two major problems.

The first is that WiFi connectivity is hit and miss, with a lot more misses than hits. Now maybe this is more a problem with the AC300s and AC500s (I have two of each). But at least one of them often drops the WiFi connection, and it rotates around them as to which won’t work.

The second issue is that the status updates are very slow. Sometimes the app will give you old information as if it is current for 10s of seconds. You can’t tell that it is old information as the app presents it as if it is current. Even after stopping and restarting the app it will still present old data before finally updating some time later. When monitoring the app simultaneously from two different phones, you can get two different status indicatons.

Bluetti needs to put some significant engineering effort into fixing this LONG present problem.

  • Wifi doesn’t work anymore.

The wifi connection used to work. True, it would periodically forget settings, and need to be reminded, but it doesn’t work at all anymore. When connected to Bluetooth, the app config screen for wifi asks for a router name and when you try to enter one, it send you to the phone settings for the app settings, but NOT the wifi config! The secret there, is to already have your phone connected to the right wifi hotspot, then the name will be already filled in, and all you’ll need to do is enter the password. At least, that’s how it used to work. Now, despite the app telling you that you have remote control of the device, you don’t. Rebooting the device doesn’t work. Trying to change setting from the device screen doesn’t work. Updating the firmware doesn’t work. Updating the app isn’t an option.

The device itself seems to have been a good investment. The app though, is one of the buggiest I’ve ever seen. I’m hoping that the app doesn’t decide I don’t need Bluetooth connectivity, like it apparently decided I don’t need wifi remote access.
