Great, simple, easy to use app.

This app is much quicker and easier than trying to talk to a person and going through endless lists of robots asking millions of questions. I could set a new ride up in less than 5 minutes using this app.

When I tried to call to set up a ride, I was on the phone for over 20 minutes, transferred to 3 different people, and ended up getting hung up on before I could even set up the ride.

This app is 1000 times better, faster, and easier. If you know how to use a smart phone I highly recommend using this app instead of trying to call.

booked trip, no one showed

this service is misleading. modivacare does not provide actually ride service, their the contractor, who seem employ low level companies, most of the cars are damaged, smelly and outdated. some people seem nice others are not so nice. Once I booked a trip 2 days prior like I was told, I received ETA and text updates. only 30 mins until my appointment, nothing, i had to call them and they supposedly paid for lyft, but it would be a 4 hours window before they showed up, which was ridiculous because my appointment started in 30 mins. the representative lied and said that lyft was in transit but that never happens, I ended up having to come out of pocket booking with lyft myself, to my appointment there and back. overall, it’s better to call around local transportation and ask if they accept insurance to pay for rides.

Not Good

I’ve missed several appointments because the driver service they use in my area or someone canceling in the system the day of the appointment.
The driver speeds over 90 mph, she talks on her phone and texts people while driving and almost crashed, so the rides have not been safe either. She also said someone with a IDD
was “acting slow” because they couldn’t see the Uber she sent for them outside. She had to send the Uber because she forgot to pick him up. Also customer service is horrible. I had to call my insurance to file a complaint because they won’t let you talk to supervisors if you call directly.
Modivcare is the worst. I would never recommend this company as a safe transportation company.

Great when it allows you to log in

I used this app successfully for about a year. It provides a lot more information than the website portal and negates having to phone customer service so often. However recently when I opened it, it said that I was not authorized by my insurance company to use the app. Multiple phone calls to customer service, who told me I was authorized to use the app and to call app support. When I called app support they told me no, it’s a customer service issue, and I went back and forth between the two departments. Finally someone at app support told me it was a “latency issue” and while they are aware of it they can’t figure is out and basically I’m out of luck. This app, when working, provides driver and ride information which add a layer of security which is desperately needed with Modivcare so the loss of access to the app is significant.

Not that reliable

Ride will get denied if there is not enough weekdays. Example is day Thursday and you have option to choose Saturday but it will still deny your ride. I wish they would give a reason though. I guess their closed on the weekend. Crazy because some people need to get their meds on certain days not pacific but before its sent back.

I had to call for a ride but person had all my information but asked for it and I could barely understand them and they could barely understand me. Walgreens don't really have medicine delivery anymore and don't deliver insulin. Modivcare or insurance Told me could take a hour but driver showed up in few minutes later and they mentioned they can only wait 5 minutes. Thats horrible. What if someone had to go to restroom? Leg, foot, and arrival is confusing at first.

Hi Leah Lee, for trips that are short notice please call into your care center to schedule the trip. Your plan has a minimum lead time for booking a trip via the app, call your care canter to book a short notice trip, we're here to help you. If there is a need to change the pick up or drop off for a trip, please call in and get that fixed.

Reliable and consistently ontime

Very happy with Modivcare. They are the very reason I signed up with Humana HMO due to having transportation with Modivcare. They are very reliable and always get me to my appointments on time. There were times when the driver cancelled at the last minute but Modivcare came through each time. I would get stressed when driver cancelled last minute, but Modivcare reassured me they will take care of it and they always did. Extremely happy with Modivcare.

Good app! Horrible company

The app has had a couple issues that were worked out after several calls and speaking to about every department reservation, tech support, and billing it was finally fixed. However this company as a whole is absolutely by far the worst to deal with everyone give u different and conflicting information bouncing u around from department to department!!! If u are a driver don’t expect payment for your time and efforts the wear n tear on your automobile in a timely matter!!! Nope they pay u when they feel like it!! Jump through all the proper hoops to get your paperwork work to them with all the required information to them and still nothing for weeks!! 7 weeks now to be exact!! This company is the worst!!!

Modivcare Transportation

This is only my second time using this service! I do like the ability to book a trip by using the App and entering my information. The first time I used the service, the driver offered no assistance to me. He missed his exit from the freeway and wasn’t sure how to get too the doctor’s office after that. When picking me up, he couldn’t remember where he dropped me off. I’m giving a 5 star rating because of the ease in scheduling my trips.

I’ve been denied rides twice and told by the excellent customer service reps that it was because I failed to provide 72 hrs notice prior to my appointments.. but how’s that possible when I requested the first time a full WEEK ahead of my appointments.. but, apparently, the third day before my appointments was Ramadan.. now, I’m all for inclusion, across the board, but, as a Caucasian male in Oklahoma, that seemed pretty ridiculous.. the second occasion was also because of 72 hrs notice, but last night, when I tried to access the app to schedule rides, I just got a message saying the app was undergoing updates, and to try back in a certain time; which was MIDNIGHT, and would’ve definitely put me under the 72 hour time notice.. I just can’t win with this app. I find myself extremely unfortunate that I was given the info to SoonerRide JUST as it was switching over to this craptastic app of Lyft brought To You By Medicaid.. but that’s life, recently, and I’m working on accepting these types of things.. my sincere condolences if you’re left with this app as your only form of transport to your appointments.. I genuinely hope you have something else available. HaPpY RaMaDaN!

Love the New App

This is great Ray simple and I was able to book my ride I only wish I could have dubbed it the day before as my doctor gave me a last minute appointment so that so be nice when you add that feature. Though I loved talking to a live agent I also at times am in a lot of pain and or I have really bad days so this is great being able to do this one. My sister was able to book my trip for me and it just took a few minutes. On the phone sometimes I would be on hold because the agents were helping other members book their trips and so by the time I finished booking my trip everything in total took up to 40 minutes. Thank you Medicare love just love your service it is the best I tell others about you and give it your m number the care you give your members is top notch just the best. Living in pain and with a disability is just awful so every little bit helps.
