Great App!
This is such a cool app! It is user friendly, has a sleek design, and was easy to pair to my 75i. I love that it tells me more about my air quality and I can see how hard my 75i air purifier is working to make my air fresh and clean. The 75i has made a huge difference in my air quality and has helped me sleep better (no more waking up with an itchy throat from allergies!). Been trying to register my 75i without success. Wanted to sign up for auto filter replacement also without success. Downloaded app only to find the app requires network ID and password!!!(&,3
Privacy invasion!
I was looking forward to setting up this app and getting more info and control over my air filter. However after going through the setup process, I stopped at the part where it asks for address and “precise location”. This is completely unnecessary and a total invasion of privacy. The fact that it needs location at all to setup the device is an overstep.
I won’t be setting the app unless the location requirement is removed.Show lessChazman2013

We appreciate the opportunity to provide some initial information here, but should further assistance be needed, we'd welcome the opportunity to engage via our support channel: https://alen.com/pages/contact-us The primary reasons for requiring a geographic address when setting up your Alen devices, is so the app can report to you both indoor, and local to you outdoor air quality information, as well as route communication through optimal networking. If you would like to leverage these benefits, but not provide your specific street address, the app will accept any address you provide. One option is to provide the city or zip code as your address, so the outdoor air quality info provided will still be relevant to your nearby location. You may also use any name or valid email address you'd like. The same credentials can be used in the Alen Air app, and on Alen.com, so that should you like to leverage the benefits of being able to register your Alen products, setup filter subscriptions, etc, and associate this info with your account, you can do so. If not due to privacy concerns, this is certainly your choice. Alen does not currently support integration of Alen devices with the Apple Home app, via the Homekit framework, but is something we are considering going forward.Alen Continues To Impress
This is definitely a 5 star app, it was very easy to set-up my older 75i that I purchased back in March of 2020, the unit is running perfectly and all I had to do was download the new app. I also really like the air quality tracker that shows the air quality in my apt over time, Great app Alen!!Ben ATX

The new Alen app was easy to pair with my BreatheSmart 75i, although I had to put the unit in pairing mode a second time to complete the process. The app seems to work quite well for controlling the 75i functions and providing information about air quality both at the unit and for my location. Well done and easy to use.Show lessBostonDM
