  • It’s fine

    Generally, the app is fine. There aren’t many features so not a lot to go wrong. Pro: easily checking data usage. Con: the Device page never works. The internet is often down/not working. It would be helpful if I could check the device status via the app for better understanding of what’s going on.
  • Worst Internet I’ve Ever Had + Atrocious Customer Service

    Our plan and costs:
    We paid for the unlimited internet plan. You have to pay them $80 to get the wireless device then it’s about $99 a month on top of that. You get 300gb of ‘high speed’ internet then it goes to ‘moderate.’

    Internet Unusability:
    The ‘high speed’ internet was the slowest internet I’ve ever used. The WiFi would crash a few times a day, forcing us to have to reset the device.
    We ran out of the ‘high speed’ internet and it switched to moderate. Moderate didn’t even allow us to stream tv, play video games, or get on Zoom calls. It would turn off for hours at a time, whether we rebooted it or not.

    Customer Service:
    We called a few times to ask for help and they said all they can do is tell us to unplug it and plug it back in. They don’t have technical staff so they don’t send anyone to fix it. They also said they are essentially in the ‘testing phase’ so there is no way for them to make it better. Refused to give a refund even though their device was unusable after 10 days of use. $180 down the drain!

    Fix this service the app won’t even open up this is ridiculous get it together the service cost too much for such crappy service!!!!!!!!
  • Would rather give zero stars

    Worst internet ever do not pay for this. I had to get due to nobody covering in my block, built a new house on this block. Payed $80 a month for 100gb of data. In 9 days, with me being out of town for 4 of them, I somehow used 27gbs of data. A complete scam. The worst part is the internet cutting out in the middle of the day during blue clear skies, then your modem proceeding to tell you it has full bars. Don’t get this, it’s a rip off.

  • SCAM COMPANY DO NOT BUY!!!!

    THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM! Do not buy anything from them.
    I never write reviews but today I’ll make an exception. This company offers horrible service with over priced falsely advertised plans that are designed to trick you into paying. They double charge to set up you internet with hidden fees!
    I was trying to set up my internet today through this company and I had a very nice first phone call. The lady on the line explained that this service was perfect for my professional entertainment business and how this company provides top of the line services, what she didn’t tell me was that she was lying the entire time! On my second phone call (one to help me finish my router’s installation) I was talking about how excited I was to get back to working remotely again. Thankfully the person I was speaking to isn’t a heartless jerk and told me about what the company really provides. SUBPART SERVICE, EXTREMELY LIMITED DATA PLANS, HIGH COST MULTI-PAYMENT BILLS, and LITTLE TO KNOW CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!! Now this company is trying to force me to pay for a first payment of a product they couldn’t provide, and making me pay for return shipping on their garbage router. They waisted my time and now I’m missing important deadlines because of lying companies. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICES! DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP! If you’ve already purchased things, demand a refund and go elsewhere! This company didn’t even service my area! That’s how much of a scam this is!

    TLDR - Scamming company lies about their product and makes me pay for a service they couldn’t and wouldn’t provide.

  • The worst service

    Wish I would’ve read reviews before getting this Wi-Fi. It’s super expensive and good luck getting ahold of anyone in customer service. There’s absolutely no way we went through 150gb in 4 days with only 3 cell phones using it and no streaming. And apparently you can only access their app using their Wi-Fi service, not using your phone’s data, so I’ve been on hold for over 20 minutes now trying to cancel my service.

  • App Is Useless Since Early May 2023 UPDATED

    I got EarthLink Wireless Home Internet at rhe beginning of May 2023. The App worked for a few days and then refused to open when I upgraded to iOS 16.4.1 (iPhone) and iPadOS (iPad).
    I am now using Earthlink 1.0.71 with iOS 16.5.1 and iPadOS 16.5.1 and the connection problem persists.
    I deleted and reloaded the App three times and also did a cold reboot - the App keeps saying the connection is "poor" and will not connect to the router.
    The router seems fine and all lights are lit and I can do device backups and photo sync to iCloud, and use the EarthLink website. What seems to be extremely poor is the App’s ability to work with iOS 16.5.1 and iPadOS 16.5.1.
    Please fix the App or send me a new router that will work with your app.

  • Nothing works with EarthLink

    The app doesn’t work, customer service has no idea what they are talking about, the home wireless is about as fast as dial up in 1996. Earthlink needs to give up..
