Hello! Before this app, keyword search and filtering were not available to our bidders. While searching by condition notation is not something that is currently an option, you are able to sort through items by keyword, category, current bid, and retail price. We appreciate your patience as we are releasing new updates and constantly keeping our customer's feedback in mind!

Horrible bad customer service

Hello! We take our customer service very seriously. If a bidder has an issue, there are multiple avenues to reach our customer service and acquire assistance. If an item was listed wrong by our error, we are more than happy to assist but must be notified properly in order to do so. You can contact customer support via phone or email with more helpful information and someone will be happy to help. We have several employees designated to assist with any frustrations you may need to voice. Thank you!
Good systems but obvious games being played

Hi Dreee, there is absolutely no unfair or planned bidding happening OLA as you're stating here. We do allow bidders to set max bids, so automatic bids are placed while they are away from their phone until their limit is reached. We also allow bidders to place bids until the last second to ensure anyone who is outbid has a chance to keep partaking if they wish. Items are relisted if customers fail to pay for or pick up their merchandise, as clearly disclosed in our terms. Great App
The items are sometimes not in the condition listed. They are willing to refund the purchase if you email them pictures with proof, but it’s inconvenient given that a lot of us travel upwards to an hour for items.

A setting to see how much an item will cost after taxes and fees on the bidding card

Personalized suggestions based on previous bids sent as a notification. (Would increase traffic)
Bugfix request:
Notification for items on the watchlist are sent after removing the item from the watchlist.

Hello! We are happy to hear that you are enjoying our app overall. For searching, it may display any items that match the key words. Sometimes this can affect things like brands, names, sizes, etc. We suggest saving a specific brand or model to narrow your search. If you'd like to discuss this more, please contact our support team and they would be happy to look further into this for you.

Hi there! We'd like to assure you that there is absolutely no shill bidding taking place on OLA as you're describing here. In fact, the bidding history on every item is recorded and publicly available for our bidders. Secondly, we allow bids to placed up until the last second. When this happens, to ensure fair bidding for everyone, the item's timer will automatically extend in case other bidders would like to continue to participate. We hope this helps to clarify!

Hello! We hope that the quick customer service response time you're referring to can be a testament that OLA has no desire to deceive our bidders. We do receive a variety of items from a multitude of circumstances, and our staff will describe the condition of an item with one of five notations at all times. At times when the notation itself fails to best describe an item, we are more than happy to help.

There’s something you want, you have to get lucky. Some listings for standing desks are there. But don’t pop up. I just came across them randomly by luck.

Thank you for your feedback! The search bar allows bidders to search keywords and categories, which is why you may see a wide variety of items come up. Anything that appears there is also in the main feed. There are many ways to search, save searches, filter and sort the feed to ensure you are seeing things that are right for you.
