Pathetic
I’ve used this app before, but not in a long time. My issue isn’t as much with the app as the pathetic service. I needed a taxi to get my elderly parents in law to the airport in time for their domestic flight home. I figured there wouldn’t be a problem with a fare for the airport booked a day in advance. I was wrong. I brought them down in time for the booking, but opening the app saw no taxis had taken the booking. I waited, and eventually after waiting half an hour called another service, which arrived promptly, since I could find no phone number for 13cabs with an actual person to speak to. In combination with Qantas having become useless after the pandemic shutdown, they missed their flight even though we are only 15mins from the airport and the taxi was booked for 1.5hrs before the domestic flight.

Doesn’t cancel pending charges
Ordered a taxi. Waited very patiently for him. He stopped to fill up with fuel. Kept waiting, because we didn’t want to cancel on him. He started driving towards us, and then suddenly cancelled. We’d waited over 20 minutes at this point. An hour later, the app has not cancelled the pending charge.
Just use Uber. Drivers who behave like this don’t deserve to keep driving.

The app doesnt work
The app simply doesn’t work!
Wanna use the “quick Apple pay option”? Yea good luck, you click to order a ride and it thinks for a while and tells you the fare is invalid and won’t order a cab for you
Try to set up an account? The verification code never got sent via SMS to our US based phone numbers

Ok when it works but wish you could use cab charge to book
The app is ok mostly on the few occasions that I have used it. To be honest the way Uber is going I'd prefer a cab.. Always unsure what kind of car you're gonna get and if it's going to smell like takeaway food for the drivers that also do uber eats delivery.
However... Aside from the fact that most times its just way more expensive than Uber, the other main issue that stops me using the app is that I can't use the cab charge vouchers I get for work trips. I have to resort to the old fashioned calling a cab. I sometimes can't be bothered and just order an uber and charge it back.
The app should be updated to include other payment methods or simply just the ability to order it on the app and pay inside the cab like you do when you book by phone or hail a cab. I would use the service more.

Poor as expected
Thought I’d try the taxi app after having not used taxis for years; and to use taxis for the exact one selling point they have left - no surge pricing. Expectations were low.
Same problem as years ago where, even for a “scheduled” job, they don’t plan for or dispatch the demand until right before the “booking”. No apparent smarts on routing of vehicles to meet booked demand on time.
Also the app becomes useless once you have made a single future booking, can’t use it then to make an additional booking or even use the help/ account features. Called for help to confirm bookings and just as useless talking to them. Not confidence inspiring at all.
App also delays for sign in routine multiple times, drops off the app current screen/status when in the background.
When using the contact driver feature you get a weird recorded message and it doesn’t connect; got a weird call back during my attempt to call the driver and had to “end and accept” to talk to them.
Called to make an additional booking (as app can only handle one!) and was told that I’d get a text confirmation; this never arrived. Cab I booked over the phone turned up 1.5hrs late, no notifications via the app - so I assume no integration between booking systems?
Back to Uber I go.

Not the best first impression, Taxi Fail....
To be honest, i read all of the great reviews and was convinced. I downloaded the app, booked a taxi in advance (2 days ahead of schedule) for a trip to the city for my Wife’s birthday. The Taxi was booked for 4:30pm, i had my booking number, nobody arrived when requested at 4:30pm, i then got a call from 13cabs asking me about the ‘Parcel’ that required picking up (which confused me completely). My brain then clicked.... i left a note for these guys on the booking letting them know i am bringing a suitcase, but will fit in a standard vehicle (in the boot) they took this quite literally and thought the taxi was for the suitcase as a ‘parcel’, and not for me and my wife.... i then got a call from the taxi driver at around 4:45pm, letting me know he is 45 minutes away (so roughly 1 hour late). The taxi driver also asked how i was paying as he was concerned i was not going to pay, i explained to him via the 13Cabs app or Via Card, typical taxi driver asking for cash upfront..... to be honest, this is the first and last time i will ever book a taxi, Uber, Ola & Didi are the future, Taxi’s times are over... they are too unreliable....

Location market on GPS
Terrible at locating where I am . Either opposite side of the street or on the other side of a building. Need to be able to manually add location if the gps shows otherwise. Ie Bundaberg hospital taxi stand . Not 278 which was on the opposite side of road further down . I had 5 taxis bail yesterday that is poor por service due to GPS on your app
