  • Clear instructions

    The instructions are clear and easy to follow. You won’t feel it is 5 minutes already as you would want more. It would help though if they put some background sounds during the poses.
  • Great for busy folks or beginners

    I love this app! If you can’t get anything else in, you can find time for this. Just five poses each day. I’ve recommended it to family and friends who’ve never done yoga but would love to start. Thank you!
  • Easy way to incorporate yoga into your daily life

    This app is easy to follow and use. It is also makes it really easy to add a bit of yoga to your day. Everyone can find 5 minutes. I am new to using this app but based on the success I had using a 7 minute exercise app I am sure I will see an improvement in my daily ability. Good job!

    Ps perhaps you could add a 5 minute wake up segment consisting of floor poses primarily to help wake up after literally rolling out of bed.

    The 5 minute yoga app is great for busy people that want to get into yoga to help initiate mindfulness and flexibility. It thoroughly explains how to do the pose prior to the timer, which you start yourself once your ready. It helps create the guidance and discipline needed for beginners or for people that are pressed for time. Give it s try, you’ll be glad you did. Namaste.

  • Easy New Year’s Resolution

    I am a lover of yoga. I have practiced yoga for several years but recently a change in life circumstances has made it difficult for me to practice yoga to the extent I would like. I have let my yoga practice become nonexistent. This year I made a commitment to myself to practice yoga every day, if only for a few minutes. I get easily bored if I do the same thing every day.

    This app has been perfect! I can set a notification to remind me to practice each day, and the app gives me 5 simple poses each day and guides me through a simple practice. It doesn’t have much guidance other than “Here is the pose, now hold it for about a minute”. Thankfully I am experienced enough in yoga that I know what to be looking for in my mind and body as I practice, and I know how to put myself in the right state of mind for a peaceful productive practice.

    I also like that the app tracks each day and shows me my chain of practice days. I believe it has 365 sessions - perfect for one a day for the entire year!

    Just three days in I am feeling wonderful and back on track with my practice. The five poses are different every day, which helps me stay interested and not get bored.

    The app does make you purchase the full app after the second session, so it isn’t really a “free” app. It costs $10 after the first two sessions.

  • Better

    At first glance, I was disappointed it had no verbal instructions. I went thru session one and then reviewed the feat of the app. On second look, i did session one again and found the voiceless instruction nice...no distractions while doing each pose.
    Pretty light for movements that I like since I am a beginner and I want to stay with this kind of exercise, and I now think I found a good app to get me started and keep me going.

  • Pleasantly Surprised

    When I first downloaded this app, I thought hmmm, I’m not sure. I wasn’t sure it gave me time to master the beginning lessons. Then I went back in and realized I was not reading the directions completely and was just looking at the poses. That didn’t serve me well.
    However, as I restarted and read the directions more closely, I feel the workouts in all the targeted areas and love the feeling of accomplishment once I’m done. Day 2 down.
    Thank you guys. I’m looking forward to the challenge of every day forward.

  • Truly for Beginners

    I’ve been wanting to try yoga for a while now, but found it difficult to attempt the poses while trying to watch a video to see if I was doing a pose correctly, not to mention trying to keep up with the video. This app is truly for beginners. I love that you can view the pose, read the description, and begin when you are ready. And move to the next pose, again, when YOU are ready!

    This app is great you have no in-app purchases and you don’t have to pay for it and also, you don’t have to register which is great because it takes up time if you just want to get straight on with the yoga. The app is clam and relaxing and makes you feel in your happy place, and you can just follow the figure showing you the move then copy the move and after that move is done you get on the next it’s just a great app to use and such a great find !!
