TCU Website design could use a few changes for ease of use
Just wish all of my accounts could be linked under a single “main page” - so that you don’t have to log out of one tcu account, and then log-in to another tcu account where you’re forced to view each account separately.
The order of “Manage Your Card” should be renamed to the more precise “TCU Credit Cards” and moved up in order listed under “Menu”. This change would make it clearer and more consistent with the frequency that this feature is accessed on a routine basis. It should not be “buried” in the site’s design and mis-named in the menu listing.
The “Link Account” feature is also “buried deep” in the website design way at the bottom of the screen (even requiring an additional scroll-down) under “Transfers & Payments” - which is not intuitive or easy to find at all. This should be a more prominent site feature under “Settings” or “Accounts & Loans”. This feature went undiscovered for decades until covid made old-school in-branch transfers nearly impossible.

Frustrating
I am having problems with the direct deposit feature, where pictures of the front and back of the checks are taken in order to make deposits.
The first time I used the App I was able to make a deposit, but since then I have been unsuccessful.
No matter how many times I retake pictures of the front and back of my check I’ll get the message “RDC UNAVAILABLE” stating that front or back image cannot be processed.
It worked the first time, now it isn’t working.
Very frustrating!

Great Banking app
Love having my banking information at my fingertips. Most functions are easy to figure out and the design of the app makes it easy to see your financial picture at a glance.
App is very responsive and most tasks like transfers between accounts are almost instantaneous.
There are a couple of things I would change if I could.
The Bill Pay function works great but it takes about 3 days for the money to come out of my checking account. I would prefer that the Bill Pay transactions showed in my checking account immediately, even if they just show as “pending” and deducted from the “available balance” until the transaction is completed.
Secondly, the eDocuments like my monthly statement are buried in the app and when I take the extra few minutes to download my statements once a month, it always takes me a bit to remember where to go to find them. It would be nice if their link was on the Home page rather than buried in the app.

Could be a great app!
the new electronic check deposit from my phone has to low a limit on size of check. I get large checks on a regular basis. Same company and usually a large amount.
You’d think after a wile a institution as large as TCU Would get it!!
This is normal for me!
Makes me go to bank to deposit.
This could be a easy fix if someone would take the initiative to fix it!!!

Very good banking app
This app gives me almost everything I need for online banking. During the quarantine, I have particularly appreciated the online deposits. The only issues I have are with the coding of debit card purchases. I wish there was some way to integrate google maps with the location of purchase so I could easily see if I made the transaction at the store, gas station, or online.

Easy, efficient, extremely user-friendly
I love how I can see all my sub accounts - mortgage, checking, savings, and home equity line of credit - when I first log in. I do have the option to hide them if desired. Every transaction I make on a regular basis is accessible in the drop down menu (transfers especially) and when I’m trying to find something else I can usually locate it right away. The layout is very nice, not too busy and no need to scroll down (at least for mine) in order to see it all. If you’re a member of TCU, using this app is simply great.

Worst app I have downloaded.
Anymore these days banking on your phone is the primary way people manage their money, so it is critical for a bank to have an efficient app for their members to use. This app is virtually useless. The app crashes at some point almost every time I use it, it is CONSTANTLY logging me out, and then when I attempt to log back in almost EVERY time it tells me my password is incorrect. I have had to change it about 10 times now just because the app rejects its. On top of all this the app is buggy as hell! Seriously considering changing banks. As someone who rarely has the time to stop at a bank, having an app this useless and lazily put together is beyond irritating.

Good to go
TCU is a good app & institution. NEVER have any problems and someone is always available when I need to call and get in touch with a representative.
The branches are always nice and clean and reps do there jobs perfectly.
Even during COVID-19 Quarantine shenanigans, I wanted to open a new MMA account and they made sure everything made sense and helped me one on one in the branch with everything I needed. Just me & the teller.
Only thing that would make it absolutely perfect would be transfer times between outside banks.

Needs some fixes
It’s a handy app. There’s a couple of things that need fixed though. First, when you check your balance later at night, (I get home from work pretty late), there’s charges that are left out while it’s apparently updating. So the balance appears to be more than it actually is. The other thing is, at the end of the year, it doesn’t keep up with the rebate. Here it is, the end of February, and it hasn’t added anything since the first of the year. I remember it last year, too, doing the same thing...taking months...
