Never works
The app always gives error messages rather than the camera view. You need to try several times to get video. The app is also not updated for the newer iPhone screens, it's still the size of iPhone 6/7--Not even 7+. The touch on the app is highly unresponsive. You have to click into a camera many times with your fingers to register. The app itself is built in a very Spartan, rudimentary way, yet still manages not to work properly. This is probably the worst app I have on my entire phone. We are only talking about the app. Don't even get me started on setting up the cameras and making the system accessible outside your home to use this app outside.
Everything in the app is overly-complicated in setup but woefully inadequate during use. I am soon upgrading to a HomeKit-compatible system like Logitec Circle 2 WIRED.Show lessAsst Village Idiot
Honestly not too bad.
Before installing this app we had to get technical support to set up the device info so we could access it via this app but after that using the app isn’t too bad. We rarely have connection issues and when we do closing the app and opening it again has usually fixed any problems. Not a bad app but definitely not the best.Show lessSage_spittah
App barely works
I’m highly disappointed in my Samsung Camera system. I have a iPhone and this app does not work 99 percent of the time. No way to view on the computer either. This was a waste of a lot of money!marie200183
Buy a different system
When the app works, it’s great, however that is only about 10% of the time.
So disappointed in this, I will never buy another Samsung security product ever.
Going to throw this away and expand the Alexa system. Huge waste of money...Poopy48
Wnt wrk over mobile network on XR or 6s iPhones
So when I try to view on mobile network on iPhone it freezes After I click on live feed, but over WiFi everything works perfectly needs updating pleaseDagr81ne

Honestly, I don’t know what all the bad reviews are about. I plugged in the information for my camera system and it works... Nice quality and has all the features u would expect from a free app.laughljr
Bad
Terrible! The cameras them self are very clear! But trying to view them remotely is near impossible! It keeps saying user authentication failed. Have to click MULTIPLE times to view and then for no reason it will say invalid user authentication. Love the picture quality just hate the remote viewing. No update in a long time so they must not be trying to fix it either. Go to sams club you will get cheaper cameras that actually work better and remote viewing actually works. App needs a lot of updates!
App needs screen resolution updates for iPhone X, XS Max, iPad Pro 2018, iPhone XR. Needs split screen support for and iPad and basic iOS multitasking support for all devices meaning the camera session doesn’t reset when switching apps. Also needs full HD support and recording playback.dohspc
App is not user friendly or very useful
I can’t speak to the error messages people get as my AV people installed this system.
I can however speak to how barely useful the app is.
I can view all cameras live fine. If there is a situation where I need to watch playback it becomes a bit difficult. It only allows for one hour of playback at a time. If you know the time of the event that’s fine. But if you’re working with a three hour window of time it’s painful to use. Once you dial up the one hour of footage you can’t scrub though at all. You’re best option is to set it to 8x and just watch the whole hour until you see what you’re looking for and then have to figure out how to get back to that moment to watch in real time. If you want to put footage on a drive , for the police for example, you have to either get someone to come out and do it for you or you have to figure out how to offload it yourself. There’s no easy save and email option in the app.
If you’ve ever used Nest cameras you’ll know what I mean.
It’s as if someone decided to make a camera app with a store bought program and just put it out without actual testing it for use.

View function works, but not play
Basically both functions could work if I turn down the resolution on my NVR. Unfortunately this app will only stream the live and recorded footage if it's below a certain level. This is fine for viewing remotely via the app, but if I turn down the resolution on the recording so I can access that remotely via the app then when I need to view a recording directly on the NVR then the resolution will be poor.
Solution is iPolis to allow higher resolution rates in the their app.
Getting the settings correct I found a little tricky, but that could be because I'm not the network savvy.
All in all, as a viewing app I can't fault it.Show lessWozza3333
