  • App frequently crashes - platform is okay

Good deals but the app often crashes while viewing an item which is very frustrating when you search for considerable time to find it. Search filtering can be a little inaccurate and makes it difficult to really filter for exactly what you want, meaning you have to scroll through a lot of irrelevant stuff. Order by best match sorts this out but then I can’t order by price cause I’m already ordered by best match. Having said that the shipping price on the item’s varies wildly so order by price is t that helpful when you still have to go into each item to see the shipping prices. Would be good if there was an option to order by item price + pre calculated shipping price (which obviously they can pre calculate because it’s right there when you open the item).
Good deals to be had, but trying to find what you want at the best price is difficult.

  • Network crisis

It functions ok but you must be extremely carful as disputes aren’t always reliable and there never appears to be a contact option to AliExpress. Many sellers will scam either through lies on the product or tricking users to close a dispute as only one can be opened even make refund offers of 0$ to conclude their problems of needing to make a refund as many products seem to go missing in the post, some still refund but only after forcing to get a 5star review to hide their failure. AliExpress combine products together later in delivery but this can causes errors of items being combined with the wrong persons other purchase so sent to the wrong address/customer. The post constantly gets sent to a different country to some how save shipping prices but cause deliveries to take an extremely long time to arrive if they don’t go missing in the post abroad yet AliExpress tracking looses track as it states the product has reached its destination country even if it’s still months before arriving in the correct country but doesn’t seem to track after arriving through customs in the first country and picked up by their postal services. All packages are given a set number of days to arrive but it automatically declares it has been delivered when this ends only giving 15days to open disputes yet they often favour more sellers than customers over disputes of all kinds !!

  • Not as good as it was

I have been a customer for around 5 years but in the last year Ali has not been as good as it was. Seller’s don’t answer questions , also a few items I have bought the shop has closed days later the seller isn’t answering and the tracking isn’t working. Ali won’t let you open a dispute for 10 day’s after allegedly posting then give seller another 10 day’s to answer dispute! Not great when you want your money back!!. Even then takes ages to go back to your account if you win dispute over a month if things go well maybe longer . Another problem is the added tax it’s even added on postage , which makes it expensive. I have been looking for items only with free shipping and there is not much of that . Overall I don’t shop as much as I did . Only shopping if I need it and that’s after checking all English site’s what’s the point of waiting if the saving is small or even no saving at all??. Thing’s are going from bad to worse. There is no longer live customer service advisor to help with your problem or very limited live customer service advisors instead there is a robot called Eva. If your questions are not in her database you just go round and round in circles. Sadly there is no way to transfer to live customer service. It’s terrible I’ll be shopping even less with Ali.

  • Great market, good app. Need to improve on the accuracy of the feedback though.

I've been using the app for years. I believe without Aliexpress I wouldn't have been able to find most of the purchased items here. Got car accessories, electronics, decoration, vaping kits, shoes, jackets, leatherwear and even plant seeds. The Chinese market is very diverse and competitive, and as a customer i can only be thankful for gaining access to that. Special thanks to the Aliexpress case team for handling disputes in a fair and professional manner every time. Edit: removed two stars because the app does not allow you to revise a feedback. If you hit 5 stars by mistake or leave feedback once you receive an item and after using it you find out that it's completely useless you cannot change what you had already wrote yourself. This does not really make any sense and is counterproductive. Seeing how aliexpress pushes users to leave feedback, even rewards them to and how customers react often leaving feedback for receiving an item not for using it I would keep two stars off the rating until it is rectified.

  • Reward system is kinda pointless but otherwise great app

First off this is actually a great app in terms of ease of use and cheap prices. Only one thing I’ve bought so far has been terrible quality and still awaiting refund on that so can’t comment on how good they are with returns yet. Otherwise their products are great quality at mostly very cheap prices. Of course you have to be careful choosing which sellers you buy from, look at ratings and reviews. Clothing is not very reliable I’ve found.
One thing I don’t understand is the coins system. You can’t choose what you use your coins on, products that cost “$0.01” are basically impossible to get or otherwise “don’t ship to your country” so I don’t see the point of me having thousands of coins I literally cannot use for anything I ACTUALLY want to buy. The freebies tab is kinda cool I have won one small thing from there.
Overall I’d definitely recommend this app if you are okay with longer shipping times (up to two months). It’s worth it for the low prices and huge range of products.

  • Really Decent App

I have tried several different apps such as this one and this is my favorite. So far I really haven’t had trouble any except you must learn to be very patient with the shipping time. I have received everything as I ordered and as stated. My advice to anyone who is ordering is to Read The Specifications Always and Reviews Carefully. Also make sure the photos are of Real People in the Reviews because some of them are the store owners. Just Read and the same item might be cheaper with another seller but check the store out and look at the shipping cost. Check sizes and dimensions for your own understanding of accuracy. Also understand on clothes that the Chinese are much smaller people so most clothing runs much smaller. What is nice about this app is You Can Ask the sellers questions about the products if you have any concerns and they will answer you. Overall I think this app deserves a 5 star rating. Just remember so many people are ordering from these apps now that their postal system is not as efficient as ours. Be understanding of this and except to wait at least 30 days for your order.

  • Love ❤️ AliExpress: I Visit Daily

I love AliExpress, I love the way it has mini games and freebies. It has so many categories for discounting, it gives me the control on how I want to spend my money and the particular discounts I want to utilize. They also have sellers/stores Who sponsors special events and give app users contest and special games/entertainment that ties to the shopping experience and it makes it more exciting. They have the option for live shopping, I’m not really into that. But usually every item has a demonstration video which is very helpful. I totally suggest at least downloading and trying it. Be patient because it is a big app with a lot of options, and it’s going to take a bit of time to learn how to navigate it and learned the rules. That is really the only con I can think of in, my pros and cons list, took time for me to understand what was going on in the app, in order for me to LOVE ❤️ the app. But if you have the time-I definitely suggest trying AliExpress. Thanks for reading my review. Take care, be safe, happy browsing!!

  • The worst app for any kind of help!

Want to purchase a product that doesn’t match that description or the photos that advertise it? Want live chat help that blocks you because you ask for help multiple times after spending 100’s to 1000’s of dollars and keep on receiving either damaged / badly made / counterfeit items? Want a service that allows the seller to say whether their product is counterfeit or not in a dispute and close off dispute with no fair or no refund at all - even though photos from their site, any other site and the real world when compared together say different? Well if you wanted a help service does anything but help, maybe a little better than eBay - but that’s not hard! Then this is the badly run help service product oriented app for buying things with your hard earned money that you don’t want anymore! (*There are a few good sellers out there when you find them!*) But don’t let me turn you away and onto every other platform in the world for buying things instead of this one, try for yourself and waste as much time arguing with someone in another country with as many language barriers as you can muster, or maybe try their unhelpful help service that allows you to be sent around in circles by a robot that only gives you responses on how to fix things yourself when trying to get through to live help to help fix a problem that is un-fixable by yourself!:)~ Take my money!! Pleeeeeaaaaasssse!!!

  • Do your research but great venders are available

I’ve been shopping with Ali for over 8 years and I’ve had some bad experiences but very few. I’ve gotten great vendors to do business with!! Do your research and don’t just look for the best pictures especially when it comes to beauty products!!! A lot of the pictures are circulating from different websites and they are misleading!! You can ask for samples but that definitely doesn’t always mean you’re going to get that product they sent. Read the last few months of reviews and check out the pictures on that particular vendor. They always ask you to take a picture of the product and upload it so they can get a really great review and it drives business their way!! This is also a way to get some of your money back a few bucks like 20-30 dollars for your review and pictures.

If you don’t like the product let them know immediately and try to work things out without having to file a dispute. Reason why, simply put you’re most likely going to be back and forth and if you don’t have sold proof that the product is bad or the company has a reputation for selling bad product you’re not gonna win that dispute and if you do it’s not gonna be what you paid for that product. Communication is everything, so is humility! Thanks

  • Love the camera feature to find what you’re looking for.

Like the app, wish online version worked more like it. Would like for the app to go back to where you left off instead of starting from the beginning- so annoying... like when you confirm an order came and when you’re finished it doesn’t go back to where you left off it you have to go clear back to the beginning of your orders and scroll through in my case, several pages to get to where you were, just go back to where you were when you decided to confirm your order. It now hangs up after you confirm, and you have to go clear back to the beginng or start over. Everything seems still the same.
When I leave a review it says it’s busy to come back later and review but when I go to the beginning of the site to look at my orders it does say that it was confirmed. It’s annoying.

And that chat bot! When I exit out of it I want it to stay gone not come back at every page when I go to the next page! It’s the most annoying and not at all helpful.
