  • Love this app

New and improved awesome would be good if linked to Strava
  • My way of giving I can do lots!!

I’m so pleased with this app!! I had started another to motivate me into getting into a habit. This is all I need because I’m big on donating!! This way I don’t have to sweat my bank account and I can work up a healthy sweat and build my cardio for my own health!! I’m really jazzed about this wonderful way to give with a great sponsor, too. And we can bring it over to Instagram, too!! What more can a person ask for in an app!! Congratulations team CharityMiles!! You’ve got yourself a real winner——!!!

  • Please add some Canadian charities. Thank you!

Hello I’m from Canada and I found this app in the Canadian App Store and therefore I thought there would be some Canadian Charities to join but there are none... only American Charities. Great app idea and I would like to give it a much higher rating as soon as your organization/App inputs some Canadian charities as well. Please input some Canadian charities. Thank you in advance for your consideration!

  • Drains battery

I really like the idea of it and I’m constantly walking around for my job so this would be perfect but it drains my battery so quickly that it’s not really worth using.
  • Win-win

I consider Charity Miles a feel-good win-win. It encourages me to do something I should be doing (walking) and garners $ for charities I want to support!
  • Wonderful App with Purpose...One Flaw

I am a huge fan of the Charity Miles app. I love the purpose behind it and am extra motivated by the opportunity to use my exercise for good. I love the podcast! However, indoor tracking is woefully wonky. It is often behind in tracking, or completely freezes or registers nothing/next to nothing. Talk about a let down when you have put in a bunch of miles, and then find that the app has only tracked .125 of a mile. Outdoor tracking is pretty spot-on and consistent, but when the extreme temps drive us indoors, this is where the app is lacking. The actual problem is likely with the device being used and the motion sensors. However, a backup or optional method of tracking would be so helpful!

  • Not working

I’ve tried restarting my phone but app still doesn’t track mileage anymore. Stopped working over a week ago.
  • No problem but good purpose

From what I can tell there isn’t really a reason to not get this app if you’re going to be doing any of the exercises anyway. They have a large variety and amount of sponsors, only makes you wish you could support them all at the same time. The distance tracker seems fairly accurate and the creation of it is simply to benefit others while getting your own benefits. I don’t see a reason why to not use this app.

  • Love the Idea

I love being able to earn money for national parks while doing what I would be doing throughout the day anyway (walking, biking, hiking, etc), however I find it really annoying that unless I log into the app 2 or 3 times a day, it won’t record workouts. The other day I did a 2 mike walk, completed it in the app, but didn’t open the app again for the rest of the day. It didn’t end up recording my miles, and I had to start my “streak” over again. This literally happens on every workout- unless I go back in and do another one, it doesn’t record the first. Would be great if they fixed these little bugs.

  • Brilliant motivation

When it comes to “should I walk or drive?” I find the pros of walking (fitness, saving money) are totally offset by the cons (time, being able to do less in one trip). I have many pressures & walking feels selfish. With this app I’ve beaten that feeling & am enjoying walking again. Brilliant idea!
