  • Love it but……….

I have purchased my fuel at Cumbies primarily because of the 10 cent discount, especially now. I am on the road every day and it gets expensive. my biggest issue, is the fact that many times especially in the Warrensburg store a receipt is not provided. I have advised management many many times about it and they have been gracious enough to reply to some of them. However, they want to see the solution as the fact that I can print it out from the app. However, because I’m on the road working every day I make a practice of entering my expenses and copying my receipt when I get back into my vehicle so I don’t get home at the end of the day and have to do some accounting. Obviously I can go inside to get it but that’s a pain in the neck, and without fail, it’s when I’m running late or it’s pouring outside and I have to go inside wait in line to get a receipt. Because my purchase is always substantially over $25 the IRS wants me to have a receipt for it. it seems to be a programming issue and supposedly they were working on it but that’s been going on for over two years. It’s just really annoying! Thanks for asking.

This app is garbage. The app crashes all the time. It will give you an "unauthorized pump" error whenever you put the pump number in after putting the nozzle in your car and choosing the octane like everyone does when they first stop at a pump. If you don't do everything in a specific order, sorry! You have to move to another pump or pay inside now! You get, "coupons" for using the app (most of which require you to buy something else) which give you a timer to use them and if you back out or run out of time (or your app crashes) you lose the coupon forever. This is especially frustrating because my loaf n jug does not carry most of the things I get coupons for! There is nothing smart about this app! Also you can only use it for loaf n jug so why is it not just called, "Loaf n Jug Pay". The app itself seems like more of a scam. Marketing team, Software team, and Management team on this app are all brainless. I hope you lose your jobs!

  • DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!!!!!

Signed up for this back in 2014 and had be using for with no issues until I had to change my bank account information. First of all, it’s impossible to do so on their website and I have to call on the phone and get transferred to 4 different people to try to fix it. I used the account when it was still attached to my old bank account for $7.01, realizing my mistake and IMMEDIATELY calling and emailing to fix it. They send you on a run around, telling you the payment isn’t rejected yet and you can’t pay until it’s rejected so you have to wait until it’s rejected and call back to pay. A couple days later when it finally rejected I was in collections with a $35 fee for a $7 charge I had already tried to fix and was told this is the correct course of action!!!!! And after speak to several of their employees they deny the first conversation ever happened (even though they do have a documented phone call from me that day). THIS IS SCAMMING PURE AND SIMPLE!!!! It’s not worth the $0.10 cents per gallon savings. Do not download and don’t use, just use your own form of payment. Most other gas stations have better deals anyway!

  • Fan For Life!

My life revolves around at times finding the nearest CF. If I’m not getting my iced coffee, I may buy a salad. I love the awards and the friendly, efficient staff. I also tell others so it keeps the prices low. If I need milk or juice, I buy it at Cumberland also.

Young Man was expecting no customers. He was most courteous as I struggled with My SMART PAY.

I text with my right thumb. Invisible disability.

This Mimi the store manager should keep some paper applications around. I’ve suggested your 401k benefits to others.

Shopping bags with CF is a write off and overhead expense. Look at this location alone.

Hudson Chamber of Commerce is now your awareness. Busing from the library to 2 Hudson locations.

At first, I thought this was another Joanne store, smoking in her car, addicted to herself, high turnover at Maynard and Concord, pumps not engaged.

    Where are the public bathrooms?

Read: How Starbucks Changed My Life? Manhattan!

Need we say more about the opening trailer of the Apprentice! Job applications went straight to Trump Tower. He knew Unions and negotiations.

I’d recruit now at the DMH in chaos ongoing with the constant homeless and can’t apply in online.

  • Poor customer experience and extremely bad security policy for your customers

Saw this was now available at Cumberland farms, new gas station that went in just up the street from me. I have loved the mobile app and will often go out of my way to use mobile so that I can use there contactless payment thru their app.
This app is NOTHING like that.
This app requires you to give your full bank account info. They also require your SSN and Drivers License number.
Cumberland Farms, it’s time to catch up with the times. Most everything out there is now capable of either connecting with Apple Pay/Google Pay or the option to add a credit card. Your requirement for direct debit of a bank account places you in level of scam artist. Do better.

  • SmartPay Review

I love the convenience of just pulling out my phone to pay and it’s great the receipt goes onto your phone so you don’t need to handle more paper. The only thing I would like to have though is a list of all the items you can buy that helps lower the price you pay for gas. I buy a variety of things from cigarettes, fountain drinks, milk, candy, BC powder, etc. But so far nothing has lowered the gas price anymore than the 10 cents that is already available. Is there such a list? If so please tell me where to find it. If not please make one and I will probably buy even more from your store. But I like my store (on the corner of Parton Drive and Palm Blvd). It’s always clean and the cashiers are polite and helpful.

  • Works most of the time

I like using the app too purchase , but being that the purchase is made on a debit card, I use printed receipts to debit the account. Most times the paper you print on in the pump is times missing.
One would think that an employee is standing about not doing much they would use that time to replace the receipt paper.
The only other issue I have is after I set up the app to pump gas I'm instructed to see an employee inside.
Very irritating to say the least.
Considering all the money you take in, these would be easy fixes for you to make.

  • Best Gas/Convenience Store App

I cannot say enough about Cumberland Farms, the app, their gas, and the quality of the food/drink within their convenience stores. I drive several miles to get the cheapest (but quality) gas around. I’ve saved over $600 with this app over the several years I’ve had it. Their incentives, quality, and bonuses keep me coming back. At this time when gas prices are so high, Cumberland Farms is always competitively priced. Then there’s the ten cents off per gallon and additional incentives! Love, love, love Cumberland Farms and the app.
For those concerned about how the app works, I’ve had it just about since it started. Never had a problem or any breach of my personal information or bank account. It’s very safe. 👏🏼👍🏼 Keep up the good work Cumby’s!

  • What a WASTE of time

I downloaded this app thinking it would be a good way to save some money on gas. Little did I realize that I would waste hours on hold waiting for literally anyone on the customer service team to help me fix my locked account. I never actually talked to a real person in the hours that I was on hold. I would stay on hold for about a half hour, then the waiting music would stop and 5 minutes later my call would be disconnected. My account is still locked and I have no idea when I will be able to actually use the app. So far it has been a huge waste of time and effort and this is a warning for everyone else out there thinking the experience might be different for you.. yeah maybe.. or save yourself the ridiculousness that is this stupid app. Good luck
