  • Problems with mobile app

    I have been trying to add payee’s to my account on the mobile app for 7 days now. The message I get is, something went wrong on our end, please try later. The people on the customer service line are no help and their only answer is , we know we have a problem and are not sure when it will be fixed.

  • Breaks password managers

    App won’t allow me to log in without creating a passcode.

    Passcodes are not secure. We have biometrics on our devices and password managers to facilitate strong passwords. A 4 digit passcode is derinitionally insecure due to its length and entropy. And it disincentivizes password manager due to non-conventional login experience. Which means it forces passcode to be stored by memory. Which means most users will create a simple passcode they can remember (insecure) or reuse an existing passcode (even more insecure).

    This is very disappointing, especially in a time where Passkeys exist. Bad decisions, First Financial. Very bad.

    Thank you for your feedback, Jason. The PIN access was chosen because there are additional security measures clients can use to lock their device, including facial recognition or fingerprints. Additionally, certain actions within our app do still require the password to proceed. Changing some security features such as 2-Factor Authentication, for example, will require the password.   • Review of Automated Banking App

    i was in the branch in Batesville and asked if someone could help me down load the app and show me how to use it and an account manager i assume was the one who helped me and she did a fantastic job explaining how it works and how to use it and it is the greatest thing i have ever seen when it comes to staying on top of my checking and savings accounts and transferring money between the two so i now can see the bills i have paid and keep track of the ones i haven’t. i personally think this is a world class service and is very easy to use and i feel that for the first time in my life i am in control of my finances i would have given ten stars instead of five if it would have been an option and the people who work in the Batesville branch are so kind and helpful they say hello as soon as i walked in the door and several of them told me goodbye and have a great day when i left. that is first class in customer service and they should be told what a difference they make in customer lives and loyalty. i have been in several branches now and by far Batesville’s branch is head and shoulders above the rest. You are very fortunate to have such a wonderful staff representing FIRST FINANCIAL BANK.

  • Happy with first Financial Bank

    I got my checking account in 1999 with First Financial Bank and I have been with them since and I have loved dealing with them. The tellers are always very polite and they always are very helpful whenever I need some help. I'm very happy with the service I get at First Financial Bank.

  • Tags Disappearing

    When I go to transfer money, I add a tag (note) to remember what the amount was for. I have several of the same amounts which I have taken out every week. Also, I make several transfers on a single day. When I go back in to check, the tags are missing. The amounts are bunched up on one day missing my notes as to what it was for. This needs to be fixed.

  • This app is horrible since upgrade

    Why did you remove my external bank acct with out my permission? Thanks to you, my truck payment was late. I was having so much taken out each week and saving money too. You decided not to update an app that was working just fine and redo it. Thanks to you, my truck payment was taken from my savings. Thanks to you I have to start all over with building my savings. When I tried to get help, no one helped til I got crappy. I’m still waiting on them adding back my one saving acct that I accidentally removed trying to figure out your stupid app. How does this app have almost 5 stars? All I’ve seen is 2 or below

    We do sincerely apologize, Sheila. Since we converted to a new app, any external transfer accounts set up on the old platform could not be converted. An email was sent to clients on 6/5, which provided 7 steps that clients needed to take with the new platform. Step 6 advised that external transfers needed to be set back up.   • Don’t like the new update

    The older version was much simpler and easier to find what you need. I miss being able to hold down on my account number and routing number to add it to pay for something. Now you can’t do that so I have to write it down each time. Very inconvenient.

  • New app

    It’s the worst app I’ve ever used. Not user friendly. When I’m trying to pay bills for the month, it returns home after each entry. You can’t see multiple past payments for each credit card. I ll stop here, you don’t have enough paper to put down all of my complaints. Terrible design…
