  • SCAM

    I’m not sure what company is running what to be honest. Perhaps this app contracts with several companies, but I signed up from a Instagram ad for a free week trial and then would have been fine to pay for a subscription for the “fashion advice”, but I could never even get the app to work and tech help could resolve the issue. I couldn’t sync the account I set up from the Instagram sign up to the account in the app. Support would send me a link to the app’s ’forgot password’ page, I go through the password reset option, and no email would ever come to my inbox or spam folder. Over and over at least 10 times and their support team told me there is not a refund option for “preference” or “financial” reasons. Their inability to get me access to the account I paid for is absolutely a legitimate reason to issue a refund. I’ll update this if anything changes.

  • Did the long phone interview, no outfits received

    I signed up for the app and although I did not really want to do a phone interview, I went through with it. It took almost an hour. It seemed as though the lady was doing several interviews at the same time because I spent most of the time on the phone waiting for her. The outfits were nothing special and they did not feel personalized. I left this in the post interview review. I never received my outfits. The entire encounter was deleted from my session history, but I continue to be billed. Good thing I took snapshots of the zoom call to prove that I did in fact talk to a lady named Diana and that she had picked out outfits for me. I’m trying to get a refund and it appears that this company, when looking them up on the Internet, it is a scam.

  • It’s a trap

    This is the worst service ever and you do not need it. Anyone actually interested in fashion can use google or Pinterest to find outfit inspiration. I do not believe I got my moneys worth- in fact I feel I was robbed of the fees for the personalized “sessions” which were just texting and it seemed to take forever. I would’ve paid that money for an actual FaceTime with a human who could’ve helped me with my wardrobe but the fee doesn’t even include any clothing or discount. Do not waste your time, do not waste your money. The fact that it’s shrouded in mystery what you are actually paying for says it all. In fact, my credit card company initially blocked the transaction and I had to call and say it wasn’t fraudulent. That’s my biggest regret in regards to this service and should’ve been a red flag that I ignored so you don’t have to.

  • Couldn’t help me then refused refund

    I’m a 5’10” former model with very long legs. I signed up for this service for help finding pants with long inseams. I signed up for the first month but my first session was on day 28 of my service. When I tried to start the session, I got a notice that my stylist was busy and wanted to rebook me in another month. So—two months paid no service so far. When I finally met with my stylist, she took so long to respond. She was clearly working simultaneously with other customers. Although I told her I needed 35 inch inseam, every pant she recommended was 32 inch. She then started sending capris without understanding that capris are still supposed to hit a few inches above the ankle, not a foot above the ankle. The stylist had no understanding whatsoever about fitting a tall person. It took about 30-40 minutes and by the end she was still suggesting pants too short. I ended the session and requested a refund, then was told that my “personal preferences” is a not a reason for a refund. So they refused to refund me the money. Good job TITLE being unable to help the customer then blaming it on the customer. Sounds like the last guy I dated. Not a business policy.

  • DONT FALL FOR IT!

    I got to this point via a slick ad on instagram called my beauty box. As others have said, the impression is of a box type service like stitch fix. Beware that the pricing is deceptive. The “trial” price gets $99 added to it that is not transparent. You sign up for an appointment with a stylist who is a bot. At my appointment, it took 5 minutes for every computer generated answer. The outfit was not me at all and looked very cheap and generic. I cancelled my subscription as soon as I read the reviews on the App Store, but had already purchased a 6 month trial. Hopefully it does cancel, others have said the cancellation process was sneaky and didn’t really cancel. The App Store should take this app down. The company is based in cypress and is clearly a scam, but has great marketing.

  • Not at all what I expected

    I paid for a subscription, expecting the app to curate style ideas for me that I could then purchase if I liked. But you don’t get to see any styles until you have an appointment with a stylist, which I wasn’t aware was the protocol when I signed up. An appointment wasn’t available within the timeframe that I paid for, so complete waste of money. I had planned to cancel, but I got charged a subscription renewal fee earlier than I expected, and they refused a refund despite that I hadn’t seen a stylist. The appointment times for a stylist are often in the middle of the night, which is obviously inconvenient. I finally got an appointment at a normal hour, and turns out it’s a chat, not an actual phone call or FaceTime. I waited 20 mins before the stylist was able to present me with options. There was no conversations about my style preference, so it’s all based on the quiz you take. I didn’t like anything presented in our “style session”. The stylist asked me to show her what I like, but how do I show her in a chat if I can’t point out things in images or in person? This purchase was a complete waste of money and a joke.

  • Zero Service, this is a joke.

    Where do I begin? First signing up…no available times. I had to book two weeks out at an unreasonable time. Then I had a family emergency and had to reschedule and chose a time a few weeks out and instead of it being 2pm as I thought it was it stated it was 2 am in the middle of the night?!? What kind of business does this?
    Can’t reach anyone in person, no one responds timely to emails- the app isn’t helpful, so I canceled whatever this service thinks it is. I did get a confirmation that my subscription was canceled but the fine print makes you jump through ungodly hoops to get a refund? This service is stealing money from people and giving nothing in return. ZERO SERVICE! Beyond infuriated.

  • Took too long to get an appointment with stylist

    After I download and paid for my first month subscription, I found that my first available appointment was on 28th of my subscription. The stylist was unable to find pants for my long legs, which is the whole reason why I booked the service in the first place. She kept showing me pants that were way too short for my legs. I had to explain to her over and over and over that was not going to work. She finally gave up then I tried to book with a different stylist, but I would’ve had to pay an entire month subscription again because, those stylists were backed up. I should mention that after waiting four weeks for this appointment, when I logged in, I got a chatbot that told me to rebook because everybody was busy. I just stayed on and she did come on after quite a while of waiting. I would definitely not recommend this app. Total waste of money, epic waste of time.

  • THIS IS A SCAM

    I reviewed this company on Trustpilot. They asked me to change my review and when I said I would not, they flagged my review as spreading false information. So I am going to post here as well.

    I paid about 10 bucks for a trial and was charged $130 bucks a week later for a subscription I did not request or authorize. I emailed repeatedly to no avail. I went to the app and submitted a request for help. I received a response email from something called LUMI stating that they would get back to me. It even had a copy of what I wrote in the app, so I know it was connected to this company.

    I fell for an ad on instagram just like everyone else. This company has no instagram, no facebook, and you can’t even google it. I unfortunately could not find a single thing online for this company. Except trusty Reddit. There is an entire threat dedicated to people who have been scammed by this company and it’s AKAs, Lumi and something else I can’t recall, Threaded or something. Anyway, the company acts like I’m defaming them when I am not. I’ll leave a review on every single thing I can until they stop lying and scamming.

  • Terrible App, Terrible Service

    The app interface is not user friendly. I signed up for the two week trial and cancelled during the trial (it took two weeks to be able to book a time when I wasn’t working or sleeping). Once having the fashion meeting, I felt like I wasn’t being paid attention to at all. It took over an hour, and I didn’t get the feedback I needed. We exchanged maybe four messages. The two style fits suggested were AWFUL—nothing I could wear to work or look stylish in. I would have been better off browsing Pinterest or ordering a box from Stitch Fix. To top it off, a month later, I’m being charged for a month subscription. DO NOT DO IT! I should have taken the other reviews to heart.
