Two things
1) please allow me to view graphs of all my data, not just the last 7 days. This is paramount to identifying patterns and breaking habits.
2) for the love of anything, stop the notifications warning me that Iโm not getting enough sleep to function. I KNOW!!! Why do you think I downloaded the app?!?! This garbage is making me not want to use the app and making me want to punch my provider in the face!

Help
I was using this app and switch phones and none of my data is on here Iโm getting out soon and I needed the info to provide to my healthcare provider for my va claim for sleep apnea and insomnia
Great sleep app!!!
This app is wonderful not just for veterans but for anyone who has trouble sleeping. It appears to use many scientific and evidence based measurements, Travis multiple dimensions for sleep and has a notes section. This is exactly what I was looking for!! Iโve already recommended it.
Fantastic
This program is the first โnon-pillโ isolution to insomnia that studies have shown works as good or better than its control arm. Warning for contraindication to cbt-i is diagnosed bipolar disorder so speak to your healthcare professional before attempting the program. So glad we have this resource at our finger tips and for free!

Great app for vets/first responders
This is a great sleep app for veterans or first responders. The sleep tracking section is very helpful. Also the suggestions are not annoying like with some sleep apps. Some of the sleep prescription stuff could be hard to understand if you are using it on your own without a therapist. The notifications are buggy but thereโs a way around that which is every time you get a notification if you click on it (like to open the app) then it will work correctly.

Difficult to understand, can't use
Not sure how this works
App does not generate sleep prescription?
Entered in 5 consecutive days of data but get error message saying there is not enough data. How many days total are needed before it gives a prescription?
Too much manual input
The other sleep app I use is all automatic, utilizing the features of the iPhone. Manual input allows for skewed data results and too much time and effort to input. Check out SleepBetter app. I'd like to see the VA adapt this tech
Useful but buggy
Updated from 2 to 4 stars for fixing the issue related to the audio stopping when the screen shuts off. If the notification system works consistently I will revise my score to 5 stars.
Free and very helpful in conjunction with CBTi book
I know that this is designed to be used in conjunction with a real live therapist and admittedly I am a psychologist myself, although not trained in cbti specifically, so I may have a head start.
However, I found that in conjunction with a good cbti manual (I'm using Colin Espie's), this app is really helpful for recording and tracking sleep, with some straightforward tips and tricks on "sleep habits", aka sleep hygiene.
I really liked the sleep prescription function, which takes a week's worth of data, with your desired wake up time, and calculates a sleep restriction program for you.
Be warned, if you're having less than 5 hours sleep, it won't do this and will tell you to see a professional. If you live in the UK, you can self refer to your local NHS Iapt service who should provide CBTi. If you can't do this, you might want to know that five hours is the minimum recommended time in bed in CBTi, so if you're having less total sleep than that, decide when you want to get up, and work backwards- voila, your prescribed bedtime.
You also need to be aware that sleep restriction can be hard. It was fairly easy for me because my sleep couldn't get much worse, but you might need to pick your timing, particularly if you have to drive etc during the day and sleep restriction might impair this.
Bottom line: did it help my chronic insomnia? I'm very happy to say that when nothing else had made much impact, it did!
