Great integration with Dropbox, so easy and intuitive to use, file organizing works great, interface simple and nice. Having Issues
Having issues with Dropbox.. it does not show all folders available in a particular folder therefore unable to import some issues.
I have tried to report to developer but it just comes back to me as undeliverable. I’m sure it’s a Dropbox issue where they changed something but that does me no good unless the developer fixes it.
This used to be the best comic book reader on the App Store but unless this is fixed for me, it’s useless.Show lessADrazen
I seriously love this comic book reader
Very easy to use and I love the way the library is presented. Useful features like cropping to the image margins and the ability to import files from Dropbox. This app replaced another comic book reader I had that was nowhere near as good for utility and graphics. Most highly recommended.s ardy

Don’t really remember how or why i started using this app but i surely sticked with it. I have been reading a lot of comic books lately and this app is great. I never had an issue with page display, my comics are well organized and i can mark them as read/unread easily. Thank you for having made this app! Almost perfect
Been using the app for awhile now and so far I'm impressed. Being able to sync from online sources is huge. One thing on my wishlist would be a "nested" sorting system. For example, I have a bunch of Batman books but I don't want to just throw them all under "Batman" I'd like to be able to go Batman>Knightfall>Vol 1 vol2 Volu 3 etc etc. This however is a small ask in an otherwise great app. It's a must have for me as a comic reader.Show lessMrjoey35
Enough.
Replaced my Fire tablet with an iPad Pro, loaded my 10K plus of comics via iCloud and have gone on to waste 2 weeks patiently trying everything to make the app work like soooo many of these reviews says it does, only for it to crash and crash and crash and crash.
I paid the upgrade right out of the gate, I have installed and uninstalled the app again and again and again. Reached out on their Twitter account for input. Crickets.
Yeeeeers of using ComiCat on a $200 tablet without a hitch. I buy a $1600 tablet and choose the highest and most often reviewed comic book reader available and this is the result.
I don’t make a habit of writing App Store reviews despite having iPhones and iPads for years, but this experience has been so disheartening, so frustrating, here I am because I feel that strongly about this experience to share it with others. I am so done.Show lesswhydavewhy
Great App!
I never write reviews, but wanted to do so for this app. I’m truly enjoying it! After upgrading to pro, I was able to easily copy over my mangas from my NAS. Left to right reading mode works great, color options make it easier on my eyes when reading, and i love the library organization. This app also keeps track of your reading progress. I’ve tried a few comic readers on both the iPad and iPhone. This is easily the best. Ad free and so easy to use. I can import all my files so quickly.
Also it works really well. Page turning, brightness, etc are so intuitive to use.
On top of that it arranges my collection of comics in visual order. I can see what I have in my collection and it looks great.

The best option, in need of fixes
Chunky is a gorgeous and delightful piece of software that is by far the best way to read comics on iOS and possibly the best way to read comics in general. However, it has one glaring issue: when you delete comics from your library that you fetched over the network, the space doesn't actually clear. This number will just keep going up and you'll become more and more confused by it.Show lessayeayedood
Garbage
What absolute garbage. I work in software dev and this is a poorly designed app. It needs UX and also good instructions on how to use it. Instructions are on the website but it’s so convoluted there’s no point. Also for all the options provided you have to buy the pro version. I’d have paid for pro if it was easy to use but now it’s down to principle and the fact I won’t feed greed because that’s all it’s aimed at....making money without the user benefiting.Show lessHMrHonest7
