Lame System
I just installed my system tonight. First of all, it took several hours to get the WiFi camera to connect. No instructions on how to configure the system for a WiFi camera. All the video hep clips on Swann’s website skip over the network and internet configs. After searching for 2 hours, finally found a video on Swann’s website (the video help tip wasn’t even for my system) for another network video recorder that explained what I needed to know in order to configure the NVR in order for the camera to connect wirelessly. As for the app, I have tested the motion and I do not receive any push notifications. I think I might just go back to the old school way on installing a camera system.Show lessGrumpy_Bear82
Worthless
Absolute garbage. If I could give it 0 stars I would. When using the playback, it will show you want it wants when it wants. It does not matter what camera or time frame you pick, it will select a random camera and time period and show that instead. Don’t bother scrolling through the time bar, it will scroll with your finger then show something from a completely different time zone. Come to think of it, the Windows based program does the same thing. Maybe it’s Swann products in general that are garbage.Show lessK9ERV
Most unreliable app, for a reputable product
So, so frustrated with the instability of this app. Your products have a decent reputation and people spend good money on them. Especially with the presumed promise to be able to monitor your home/business remotely via your apps. Yet, it would seem very little effort or money is invested in ensuring your app remains efficient, up to date and of quality - to back up your product and deliver on what your app claims to be able to do - without constantly failing. I wouldn’t purchase a Swann system again, just for this app. I cannot monitor anything right now as the app just constantly tells me login failed. I’m also over trying to get help from Swann. People should read the app reviews online before deciding to purchase.Show lessoh_hey_now
Playback is useless & app is slooooooow to load.
Come on Swan, this could be vastly improved. The ability to live-view your cameras is good, however the playback feature does not work at all, which is annoying and pointless. What’s the point of it being available on a mobile device when it never works?
Also, the app takes forever to load, in fact it’s the slowest of all the apps I have, when others are far more consuming of device resources.

Playback issues
Absolutely useless this app is playback is a nightmare on this app every time you try look a footage up it is impossible to view it unless you sit for almost an hour and finally see the footage as there you cannot fast forward it it brings you back to the hour if you try to do so for example if the footage you needs starts at 5.45pm it will start you from 5.00pm and you have to wait 45 mins because there’s no fast forward and if you try skipping to as close as 5.45 it bounces back to the very start off 5.00pm , and as for normal streaming to check on things no matter how good your internet is which I’ve tried numerous amounts off different WiFi spots it’s never steady it’s always stopping then when its catches itself it shoots off like it’s being fast forwarding so in actual fact you can’t see nothing it’s complete waste off time iv had this app for around 1year and a half and iv been disappointed from day one I always jump back on this amp to see if there’s been any improvements and nothing after spending daft amounts off money on the Swann system it’s a shame I wasted it , when’s my systems breaks I’ll 100% never buy another Swann system as the only reason I brought it was too use the app , very disappointing and looking on the internet I dont seem to be the only person with the same issuesShow lessMr Chaco

Spend more time trying to connect than looking at what’s going on your properties. Needs some upgrades for sure.bobbymaggeee212
Keeps signing off every time I open the app
Every time I open the app the cameras won’t open and it makes me sign in again which won’t work, it takes 3 tries and 5 minutes of waiting for it to connectajlul
Works great!
I have been using this app for over 2 years, and I’ve never had any issues with it, always works perfectly. Can’t say that for 99% of my other apps!!8adam4
Recording video on playback doesn’t work!
I really want to like this app, but it just doesn’t work wonderfully. It feels like Swann is neglecting their software after initial release.
My biggest issue is that I can’t record video when in playback. It works in live view fine. Please fix this and give the app some love.PB12IN
Bad App for iphones
Started using it 2-yrs ago and it worked great. Now after updates its kind of useless when using an iphone. Live feed constantly stalls out after 3 seconds and takes numerous tries to get a live back which then stalls out, again, after 3 seconds (wash, rinse, repeat). Cannot recommend using, look elsewhere😡.Show lessSpoilr
