  • Your company is literal garbage

    I just had to manually pay my bill for this month and last because your new autopay system screwed up and never made it’s scheduled payment. For that I got to pay a 2 dollar convenience fee because of your technical issues. When I tried to get it resolved with your customer service, they did nothing other than waste my time (heaven forbid the people you speak to on the phone be empowered to do something to help). If I’m taking time to speak to somebody the phone and you’re calling me back after I submit a customer service request then put me on the phone with somebody that isn’t going to send me to your automated system. When I went through the chat the customer service rep told me this was a known issue, why didn’t you bother to tell any of your customers?

    Why didn’t you bother to make some type of information available for customers to find out what they should do if affected by said issue and how to resolve it? Why do you expect customers to fix your company’s screwups and do your work? Maybe I can give you my phone number and when it’s time for my garbage and recycling to be picked up I can go ahead and load it in the truck for you myself.

    So I’ll go ahead and reiterate your company is garbage, I’m sure there are nice people who work there but as an entity your company is garbage. Your customer support is garbage, your IT system is garbage, and it kills me that I have to send you money each month.

  • Out of control price hikes

    The price for service has gotten completely out of control. I have heard multiple neighbors say the exact same thing. We have been informed by the county that there could be a possible change in companies coming, and I am looking forward to it. I had no problem with Waste Management until these out of control price hikes started. The other consistent complaint that we have is how they would literally dump garbage on our street and never even get out of the truck to pick it up. The trucks leak hydraulic fluid and have for years. Our private road is completely stained with it. This is the type of service we get and they continue to up our price.

  • Horrible customer service

    I’ve been on the phone for one hour nobody is available to answer my inquires. The amount of money we pay increase every 6 months. I have the smallest trash bin, and the price is more that the regular bin. I’m very tired of the unprofessional customer service. I can’t wait another company will take over. I’ve on hold now for one hour and 20 minutes as their app does not allow me to make a payment on line because it says I have to link my account which I already linked 8 years ago. You need to do a better job to take care of your customers. The pick up track comes on different times every week so we need to guess when we need to put out the trash. Unprofessional and they don’t even care to be green . I saw a track put my recycled trash with the regular trash. Horrible customer service.

  • Auto Payment

    I set up auto payment to my Amex card somehow it didn’t transfer over I don’t know what happened my Visa card expired so I switched cards I always set up everything on auto pay only to come home and my trash can is gone. Here is an idea if you don’t receive my payment when I have been never late how about call me!?!? Don’t just come and take my trash can making me look like I don’t pay my bills granted I know WM deals with crappy customers everyday that don’t pay the bill but if you have a customer that hasn’t been late since 2013 when they started paying their service with you a call would be appreciated now it’s paid can I have my trash can back

  • Horrible customer service

  • Horrible company

    This company has horrible customer service and basically lies. They had a screw up on my last bill that they apologized for and took off the late fee behind it and said just pay your bill and your good to go. So I did that and they resumed my service. Then this month on top of my bill I’m charged $70 to simply do three seconds of work for the computer to resume my service after they are the ones who caused the who issue. On top of all this their driver destroyed our car with the claw on the truck as he smashed the hood of our car with it and not once did they even apologize for that matter of fact they sent a late fee notice back when that happened. They are a total rip off and I’ll be looking elsewhere!!

  • Waste Management

    🤬🤬🤬Never have i had such difficulty setting up my residential garbage pick up. Two weeks after signing up online still no garbage can. I had garbage piling up with no where to go. Then I received a call saying they didn't have my lot number and left a number to call. The number just rings and rings then beeps and disconnects. Not even voice mail. I canceled and went with AM Waste - they actually care about their customers. I prepaid for this service with Waste Management. STILL HAVENT EVEN RECEIVED MY REFUND. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS PATHETIC. I encourage you to try AM Waste or another service. Waste Management doesn't care obviously…🤬🤬🤬

  • Wow

    I only wish I could include screenshots. I never leave reviews but I was appalled by the service I received from waste management. Today marks the 3rd time in 6 weeks that my trash has not been picked up. I thought it could be an oversight at first until I actually witnessed for myself this morning the truck stop in front of my house so I closed the door with the assumption that I’d receive service today only to come outside to see a full can! When I checked the app it was stated that I received a pickup today which was obviously false. After searching for about 15 minutes I was finally able to locate a customer service number where I was told that my bin was too close to my mailbox.

    I have lived in this neighborhood for 3 years and not once has this ever been an issue. If there is another trash service in your area I’d suggest you use them!

  • Notifications randomly get turned off

    I occasionally get texts from WM saying “You have opted out of texts from WM.” I then have to go back into the app and reselect text notifications. This message is not driven by any action by me. In fact, the latest one came in at 1:14am CST, when I was sound asleep. I’ve reported this to WM before, but it continues to happen. I suspect that the notifications are mistakenly being reset when WM updates or tweaks their server software, since the timing does not seem to match the dates of app updates. WM should look into this.

  • Not Showing Order

    Today I’m leaving a review because the site asked. The last time it asked I didn’t respond because it was my first time using the online site. However I place my order it confirmed but I never received a pickup and today I go to check the status of the pickup and it does not show a request was made. I’m leaving a three star review on the online part of waste management only because if I was to rate them as a company and for there services I would have to give them a Five star review. Another order was placed we will have to see how this one goes.
