Unfavorable experience

App is far less intuitive than competitors. Disallowing a change of payment makes making a payment impossible. My card was compromised and I couldn’t change methods to pay because it was one day after due date. Ridiculous. Navigating in app is painful, difficult to find options. Making an extra payment is near impossible especially if the amount isn’t the same as monthly payment. And service fees for payments are exorbitant - some would say robbery. Westlake has definitely not been the best experience I’ve had with a financial partner.

Trash!!!!

I have a paid-off car and a van financed by Westlake Financial. When I first financed, I had a lot of problems with their customer service. They don't respond to chat or emails. I wanted to know why? Anyway, I've been trying to get the title to my car paid off for months and still nothing! I received a letter at my house claiming that the vehicle had been unallocated with the finance company, but when I got to RMV, everything was still alienated. I tried to call them on the chat to help me, but I couldn't get an answer. Westlake Financial, your customer service is a joke to your customers. I'll never finance anything with you again. I'm going to spread the word against you. If it weren't for me, no one around me would give you money. Trash! That's all I have to say. Unfortunately.

Ridiculous

This is my first ever app review where I am compelled to actually write about my experience to warn others. To begin, you have two options to pay. Wait for auto pay and hope to god is goes through with no errors (Nobody or nothing will tell you if the payment went through or not) or you could pay early and STILL have a payment go through at the due date (so basically 2 payments within a month). How on gods earth can you mess up the most important part of having a financial loan app. I had auto pay on thinking everything was good until i got a notifications saying “you have a late payment”. I called customer service after being hung up on once, only to then find out the transactions never went through, how is that possible and why did I not get notified? This seems to not be just a “me issue”, look at the reviews, this is a common occurrence for users and they do nothing about it, disgusting. Also why is there no option to set up recurring payments BEFORE the due date? I had to call customer service for that as well.

My experience with West Creek Financial throughout the years

I have had West Creek Financial as a lender since I bought my first couch now they financed me for a car which I am halfway done with paying off and never have I had a complaint about them they have always been good if you're having problems with the app I would advise you to delete the app and reload it you just have to keep on top of recording through your financial institution as well as your registry I have nothing but five star ratings to get to this company and I wouldn't be able to have the things I've had if they didn't help me five star company I highly recommend them as a lender

Terrible app and customer service

Let’s start with app… it’s terrible you won’t be able to log in after a certain period of time. I have had Westlake for over 4 years and have complain about my account on numerous occasions and nothing was done. I have advised customer care more then a few times that I can not log into my app when ever I try to log in I’m advised to call customer care with a number and when I do I’m told they don’t know why I can’t log in! So now I’m stuck in contract with someone and I have no idea what going on with my account . when I log in online I’m told my car is already paid off and nothing is owed. Also, I can no longer make online payments or phone payments with my debit card because of your rep providing wrong information to me ! I’ve asked for calls to be pulled , I’ve spoke with supervisor who hung up on me , ive emailed my bank statements to your accounting department who can’t help, I’ve done 3 way calls with my bank and one of your supervisor who confirmed your payment was received. And nothing was changed on my account this is the worst auto lender ever you will be scammed and stuck resolving your own issues.

But at least the customer service is good…

So this happens maybe 50% of the time and I have no clue as to why. I have automatic pay turned on with all my info saved in the app. As I’m sure you could guess what happens next, I end up with all these extra fees all the time. I’ve called them to address the issue and every time they basically tell me that there are no issues and everything should be completely fine. But what do I know??🥸🧐😫 but as I mentioned earlier, the customer service is top notch; that’s why I gave 2 stars instead of 1. Wish I could shout out all the people I’ve dealt with, but it’s ok because I think I did a survey

I really like this app and Westlake Financial.

Since I financed a vehicle with Westlake Financial, I've been extremely impressed with the customer service.
This app works great and is extremely convenient for making payments and reviewing your account. Westlake Financial has different programs to help you out during hard times and when I've used the service the agents I worked with made the process simple and painless. Thanks for the good work!

Poor customer interactions

Westlake Financial has an extremely low aptitude when it comes to dealing with customers. Their capacity to coordinate in house paperwork according to what they tell customers is abhorrent and I’ve spent countless hours on hold while they “contact a supervisor” for minimal information because nobody seems to be equipped with any answers. Their identity verification process is repeated numerous times throughout the phone call, while somehow simultaneously not being able to find any paperwork or agreements pertaining to previous phone calls even if they were within the past 48 hours.

Westlake Financial’s customer service base has made me lose any confidence in their system past calling to make a payment. Download the app and save yourself time/trouble

Failed App: Accessibility and Login Experience: Addressing Face ID and PIN Limitations

The available options for unlocking, such as Face ID and 4-digit PIN, are unfortunately not functioning as intended. Face ID fails to toggle properly, leaving me with no choice but to manually enter my lengthy password each time. Additionally, when I tap the screen to access the keyboard, an unexpected scroll wheel appears, attempting to log me in without even entering the password yet. As a result of these issues, I find myself frequently locked out of the app before I can successfully enter my password on the first attempt. These flaws severely impact the overall usability and reliability of the application.

Great app

It’s very convenient for someone who don’t have the time to call to make payments. I strongly recommend this app to anyone who has better things to do. It’s quick and easy to use help you stay on track what you owe
