So Disappointed
I really wanted to like this application - especially for the amount I paid for it on both my Mac and my iPad. However, I have been working on a project for 4 hours and the app crashes literally (and I do mean literally) every 30 to 45 seconds and doesn’t save the changes I managed to make anywhere despite me trying to save to both photos and files. Current version of the app (updated today) is absolutely horrible. Extremely disappointed. And frustrated.Show lessRinRead22

Broke after update, QUICKLY FIXES 24HRS LATER
Half way through making a fightstick artwork and was working fine last night, since then its updated to newer version of app, now when selecting arrange or style for individual components nothing is coming up so cant adjust indvidual layers, knocked to 1 star but back upto 5 star review since developer updated app 24hrs later and all seems to be working again, love this app on ipad and macbookShow lessjohnfitzy

We're working on getting this fixed ASAP. For now, you should be able to select the Arrange and Style tools from the Tools menu, by tapping the brush icon in the toolbar. Apologies for the trouble in the meantime!Everybody should own this app.
This is a great app with with a design that captures Apple's own aesthetic paradigm. There are still a few features lacking—like some basic sheer and distort transform abilities—but I'm looking forward to future updates, and hopefully an iOS version of Pixelmator Pro.Darth Diggler
Great app.
Surprisingly powerful. I love using it. I am constantly learning about the features.
There is a little bit of a glitch with the odd crash, this is annoying because I lose my work. I hope they iron that out.

A must Have for those who work with Photographers and Painting

The new update is awful
Used to love Pixelmator, but the new update has taken away the most creative templates and replaced them with boring old squares. Whose idea was this?éiregirl
Slows updates. But still lacking
I LOVE Pixelmator for the desktop, but the iPad app is very disappointing. One of the things that needs to change, which would greatly improve my review, is regarding the lack of ability to import drawing tools. The limited selection they have are not good, and they are all “chisel tips” that draw with a sort of ribbon effect. For inking, this is no good. But if we had the ability to import brushes from the desk top version, I would enjoy the iPad version so much more. But until they do, this is still sits in my off loaded folder. :(Show lessChandlerart
